Summary: Slack is a very integral tool and allows teams to communicate more freely and often times less formally than email which allows for things to be done more efficiently and quickly. It is an excellent tool for tracking the progress of projects and an excellent way to keep information about specific clients or projects all in one place.

Positive: I like the ability to add different "channels" to track different projects or clients which cuts down on searching through threads of unrelated messages for information. Slack has great search ability and allows you to search all of your channels and find information quickly. There are some fun emojis and gifs which make communication more lighthearted and fun.

Negative: I find it frustrating that you cannot preview documents uploaded to slack, the only option is to open download the document and then open it which can be time consuming and annoying when you didn't actually want to open a particular document. I would find it very helpful to be able to mark particular messages as unread, as you can do within an email inbox, so that you can easily return to the message.

Summary: Slack has been very beneficial and is very easy to use. I think it is very easy to learn how to use it and would rate it 10/10.

Positive: Slack is very easy to use and has made communication with colleagues very fast and straightforward.

Negative: When a lot of people are on one channel the messages can be a little disorganized and chaotic.

Summary: If you want to simplify your communication to one application, I think Slack would be a great app to do so.

Positive: The Slack app is awesome. I really like being able to connect different apps to my Slack channel (such as Google Calendar, Dropbox, etc.). It makes it much easier to balance a busy schedule!

Negative: I have only had issues with using trying to integrate some apps into my Slack channel, but most of the issues are due to the app itself, not Slack. So no cons from me!

Summary: I'd recommend this for anyone that has a team and is needing an efficient way to keep updated and collaborate remotely!

Positive: Slack is super easy to set up for a team. We use it with a team of 25 and it's super convenient for us to be able to collaborate all in one area and in channels.

Negative: There is a small learning curve when you start using it but you can adapt to it pretty easily if you use it consistently.

Summary: It's great and I would recommend to any company needing a quick and efficient way to communicate to use it.

Positive: Love how you can create channels for each clients to organize messages and threads with colleagues.

Negative: There are a lot of features to Slack so it can take some time to effectively learn all of intricate functions.

Summary: Love this app. Seriously it's grown on me. Very glad I started using it because there's tons of platforms using it now.

Negative: Can't search past a certain amount of time. But I think that's only come up once or twice in several years.

Negative: I have found only single issue regarding the desktop notification. Some people in our company have reported of a blank screen on startup, but that was due to graphics driver and it is a quick fix. Overall it's a very amazing product for team communication.

Summary: Slack works great for our company and we rely on it heavily. Highly recommend Slack as an alternative, or a complement to email.

With this platform, we have been able to create different communication channels in which we have separately integrated each of the employees, depending on the sectors they have in our company. In this way, we have been able to have a much more complete organization and much more specific communication. I am very grateful for the usefulness that this platform has given me. For a very, very long time, I have been using this platform as a method of communication within the company for over a year. I want to highlight that the results have been innovative and we have been able to create constant communication for the entire company. I must highlight that each of the meetings that I have generated within this platform have been completely stable and have not had any type of interruption, that has helped with constant communication. I have also liked the platform for mobile devices that this system has offered me, because this platform for my cell phone works incredibly well. I can receive notifications when I have been mentioned within a communication channel, I also receive notifications when I have received direct messages from my employees, and I can also chat in the communication channels and generate new meetings with the help of this application. Negative: One of the main features that need to be improved within this platform is that it is not possible to access the message history of any communication channel. If no Internet connection is active within your device, this is quite negative, since I would like to be able to access old messages or review any type of information and I don't think it is correct that I must have an active Internet connection. Slack does not allow you to send very large files or documents. Within each communication channel, these channels have a certain limit for the number of files or the amount of weight that the files you transfer to your colleagues can have, I am quite negative, since when you want to share a fairly large file with your work team, you will not be able to do so using Slack, it has a very small limit for the weight of each of the files you try to send.

Summary: In general, the service that Slack has offered me has helped to correctly enhance communication in each of the sectors of my company, currently this platform is being used by the marketing, sales, projects, finance, executive area and many more areas. I believe that this platform has kept us connected and in touch, in this way we can share any type of ideas with our team members, and we can also establish direct communication with all members within the same channel, whether to send a communication or to send specific information. Positive: 1- It has different methods of communication, this platform allows meetings to be held via video, audio and chat. This variety of ways of communication helps all work teams to communicate with each other and collaborate constantly, diversifying communication helps to increase collaboration between teams.

2- The Chat system works in real time, this helps all work teams to communicate with each other and receive all messages consecutively, at no time presenting any type of delay in sending and receiving each of the messages within the communication channels.

3- Within each communication channel, all types of files and documents can be transferred, this is very important since it greatly benefits collaborative work, users can send a document or open a document online and edit a document simultaneously with the help of their colleagues.

Negative: 1- The mobile application is not beneficial, since it does not allow sending files or documents that are so heavy, through each communication channel, in addition, notifications of received messages or the start of some type of call, within the communication channels, are not received instantly, the notifications are not instantaneous.

2- You cannot make direct calls to specific users within this platform, the only way to start a call is a group call, where all the members of a communication channel participate, this is negative, since if you want to communicate by call with someone specific, you will have to do it outside the platform.

Summary: There are very few negative things that I have noticed about Slack, as this has been a platform that has brought totally noticeable benefits to my IT services company, with the help of this platform, we have been able to grow over the last few years, we have had much stronger communication with the different work teams, we are a company that has many developers in both the web sector and the application sector, in addition, we also offer Data services and many more, which is why it is absolutely essential that our developer teams are fully communicated at all times, which is why we have continued to use this platform, since communication has been completely stable, we have been able to develop new projects for new clients, we have been able to improve our portfolio as a company and we have been able to generate projects in less time compared to what it used to take us before to complete a project. We believe that overall, this platform has been completely beneficial for our company and we will continue to use it in the long term. Our projects have been much more organized since we started using it, and we have also noticed how the work teams have had much more positive communication and interaction than before. Slack is the ultimate solution to improve work communication.

Positive: This platform has been one of the best for my work environment, due to the ease with which I can communicate with my entire work team. In our company, we have different work areas, since we are a technology company, it is very important for us to stay in communication with the different areas that oversee the technology services offered to clients. One of the biggest features that I liked about this platform were:

1- With the help of this platform, I can create different communication and chat channels, where I can meet with different people around my company. This platform allows me to create separate communication channels, so each area of ​​our company has a different communication channel where there are different members. This function is completely beneficial for us. It is very important to divide ourselves in this way to be able to work together in a very simple way, so this is one of the most essential functions for us, since we can divide each of the areas of the company and establish a much more solid teamwork.

2- Another feature that I loved is that this platform allows me to have meetings via video or audio, these meetings can take place within the communication channel that you have previously created with your team members, these meetings are quite stable, so you can communicate very easily with your team, share ideas, share solutions or share some type of specific information, there is no limit on the amount of time you can stay within each of the meetings, this greatly increases the probability that you have good communication with your team.

3- I loved the way I can share all kinds of documents and work together through the communication channel, since I can upload a new document within this channel and work together with my team members, this document can be edited simultaneously by several members, which helps a lot so that we can work as a team within Slack.

4- I also liked the list system within this platform, since this system allows me to manage, create and organize each of the projects that are being developed within my work team. This function allows me to consult the activity of each of the members, I can see in real time, each of the tasks that are being developed, as well as I can follow up on the assistance requests of each of my coworkers, whether to provide assistance in a specific task or in a specific project.

Negative: Slack has developed really beneficial features for my technology company, as it has provided me with a system in which I can correctly organize each of the tasks that we are going to carry out day after day, however, I have also presented some negative things within this platform, such as:

1- One of the things that I have not liked about this platform is the poor accessibility it has when I do not have an Internet connection, since when I do not have a stable Internet connection, the platform does not reflect the messages that have been within my team communication channel. This means that I will not be able to consult old messages within the conversation with my work team, if I do not have an Internet connection, this is quite negative, and here on some occasions I need specific information that is within these communication channels and I cannot consult it due to the Internet connection.

2- There are several shortcomings that can occur within the Slack application for mobile devices, the first deficiency is that this application does not show notifications in real time, which is why you will have different problems when receiving notifications at the exact moment when your work team wants to contact you, in addition, this application does not reflect the complete descriptions within the Chat channels that exist in your account, which will directly affect you since you will be confused when accessing specific channels when necessary.
