I was followed by a slashstalker over a year ago now, who eventually went away. I call this individual a slashstalker because they made a habit of placing absurd replies to my posts, regardless of what I was posting on. Back then it was an Anonymous Coward doing this.

Now, it appears I am being followed by a slashstalker again. Notice the same congratulatory behavior. Notice the same insistence on pushing nothingness to the extreme. Notice the same tendency to allow their hatred towards me to overflow to the point of becoming their inability to say anything at all.

Is it the same slashstalker as before? I guess since this is the Anonymous Coward we are talking about, we might just never know.

But it is nice to know that someone is so deeply envious of my writing that they feel the need to follow me around and insult me at every opportunity, without concern of whether or not it makes sense to do so.

Sure, I know I can post this with comments disabled, and my slashstalker won't be able to come and post here. But what is a journal entry good for if nobody can discuss it?

  • I'm fairly certain I know exactly who my slashstalker is, however. Yours I would guess is Red4man - the signature HUGS AND KISSES gives it away.

    • Red4man is playing an interesting game if its him, as I had earlier AC posts accuse me of being him.
      I really figure my slashstalker is Pudge [slashdot.org] or Pudge [slashdot.org].

      One AC reply bragged about having a subscription - I'm not sure if Red4man is a subscriber but of course both the Pudges are.

  • This guy pretended to be me, taking the name "sm627O4" (letter "O" substituting for the number "0"). He even journaled once (and only commented once), trying to copy my style. I was amused by the fact that another stalker confused him with me, responding to this guy's only comment.

    Even though they say "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" it was still creepy.
