Journal damn_registrars's Journal: Counting how the new layout sucks 19
So here I will start building a list of reasons why the new user page layout sucks:
- Annoying idle.slashdot.org color scheme
- Right-side fields overlap message information
- No link from your user page to your messages page
- No easy way to view all of your journal entries (or even their titles as before)
I know there are more reasons to hate it, but these came to mind quickly. I can also say I have seen several OS/Browser combinations that all have those problems with the new setup:
- Windows 2000 / Firefox 3
- Windows XP Pro / Firefox 3
- FreeBSD 6 / Konqueror
- FreeBSD 6 / Firefox 3
For that matter, has anyone found a combination that actually will actually render correctly? I'm guessing we'll have to use a Mac in OS X with Safari, since this could probably be the fault of Pudge, I mean Pudge.

Oh, and if I haven't mentioned it before, the new firehose [slahdot.org] also sucks tremendously. I particular, it is much more difficult to get the firehose to display particular data. Say for example you want to see new journal entries; you have to
