If you're reading liberal news for Harris numbers and can't find anything on policy that's on you, to say nothing of her favorability numbers being higher than Trump's. If her approval ratings were so low it's breathtaking how Biden's positives went UP after she became the nominee and nationwide polls for her versus Trump are universally up. And if you're really concerned about VP popularity I'd take a second look at Vance. Harris hasn't been on anyone's mind once Biden took office and if you ask me that's a good thing. I can't remember one positive moment for Pence, Biden, or anyone else before in that role.

She's not the favorite, nor should she be, but at least her proposed policies so far target my group, the middle class (small business tax incentives, day care help, NOT doing tariffs, mortgage assistance, expanding price gouging laws, tax credits for newborns). Are all of those policies applicable to me or do I think they're ideal? No, but the alternative tax breaks for corporations and all the 2025 insanity decidedly outside my interests, to say nothing of being way too authoritarian. She's at least speaking policy instead of bankers with nukes, for example.

As for Biden's age, yes, he's old and he should be retiring - that's how we got where we are. Don't pretend for a second Trump wouldn't be showing those age signs if he assumes office again this fall by the end of his term. He's showing a lot of weird signs with speech slurring and forgetting what state he's in already - same issues Biden's showing. We really shouldn't be running candidates out there over 70 to lead the country.

I have an iPhone and my wife has an Android phone and both connect to it just fine via Bluetooth for any audio. If you want to use the Spotify app on the car yeah you need the subscription, but if the phone playing Spotify can connect to the internet on its own you can play the audio through the car via the Bluetooth app on the car. The same looks like it works or any other phone app that plays audio. The car has its own map system yes. The subscription there only adds traffic information.

And the tech for batteries is already changing to push past the 500 mile range and improve charge times. Nickel (Cobalt-Free). Zinc-Air. Are we a few year away from lithium-ion being phased out? Sure. But considering people aren't comfortable with the infrastructure yet to make the jump any real concerns over lithium shortage shouldn't be a primary concern for EV adoption.

There's the type of subscription where companies try to tie in things like 'heated sets' behind the paywall and the type of subscriptions where things almost nobody cares about are behind it. I personally could not care less about the self-drive feature and will NEVER trust a car to drive for me. So the 'subscription' for Tesla's from my point of view are non-existent. Most people I know who own an EV fall into the same camp. Anecdotal for sure, but the main point - Tesla's do not 'need' a subscription.

No argument, but you seriously can't expect Coca-Cola of all companies to.... stop selling single use plastic. I'm not even sure what you're arguing they should be doing. People should stop using their products for the environment AND for health reasons. Raging on the Internet about it is childish and misguided. What the company is doing is better than them doing nothing. Don't let perfection be the enemy of good.
