Summary: Overall, I’m extremely impressed and pleased with Luminar Neo and view significant potential for its future and am glad to have invested in its growth.

Positive: Going above and beyond, Luminar Neo is such a great platform for photographers or enthusiasts to be able to grasp an quick understanding of editing with the best possible results, never letting clients down.

Negative: There’s nothing I dislike about the platform besides their pricing metrics, most times confusing, I used to get lost with which I should buy and the add-ons that stack the price towards checkout. I feel like simplicity could significantly help those who may struggle understanding where to purchase and what they’re getting.

Summary: Great software, even better support team with super fast response time and solution oriented. Can recommend.

Positive: Works well with great and helpful features. The AI tools make a lot of tedious editing a lot simpler.

Negative: Not much to complain about. I had some issues getting the program to start on previous versions of Luminar.

Summary: My photo editor of choice when I want to apply the final touch to my pictures. And it keeps getting better in every iteration by adding new features and AI Assistants.

Negative: Nothing in particular. In early versions there have been some stability issues, but I didn't encounter any crashes for a long time now.

Summary: Until now I'm 100% happy with it. If the Layer based system could be a bit clear, that would even be better but it might be only in my perception.

Positive: It connects to most softwares of editing, it does the job and you can have it with a one purchase option. There is no better in the market.

Negative: The AI tools might be available to me only for a year. If the team could change that and allow its users to actually use these tools for longer, for sure it would be great.

Summary: I like that the programme and the tools load a load faster. The tools are very responsive and sensitive.

Positive: Erase tool, Develop tool, Enhancement slide, I find it better than Lightroom.

Regular updates. Accurate slides on all tools.

Presets.

Negative: No facility to add a border to my photos. Cannot move photos within a folder for comparison purposes.

Summary: Luminar Neo is an excellent photo editing application that is functionally rich, updated with new capabilities, and gorgeous to look at. The Skylum web site is filled with helpful information and add-in capabilities. Finally, their support is fast and amazing.

Positive: So many things. The functional capabilities of Luminar Neo are quite advanced. They have included Artificial Intelligence into both Luminar Ai and Luminar Neo. The interface is designed to allow rapid processing. It generally take very much less time to edit in Luminar Neo than alternatives I've tried. They add signifiant new capabilities often, more often than one can believe. And the design of both Luminar Neo and the Skylum web site is gorgeous. Finally, I contacted support recently and received help very rapidly, in less than a half day.

Negative: I can't think of anything I don't like. There a small number of capabilities, such as making a selection by color range, that I would like to see in a future update. This is a minor issue. They add new capabilities so fast, that I expect this will appear in a future update.

Summary: Professional and prompt support by logging on to my account and requesting technical support with simple description of trouble.

Positive: Very fast response on a technical issue with my Neo software. MacOS update on MacBook Pro M1 caused the software to fail but tech support suggested to hold down the option key while starting the software and run from a backup version. Problem solved!

Negative: No details or comments to add here. Overall very happy with the software.

Summary: I'm glad I switched to this one. The smart edits are a really good addition. As well as presets. The payment option is also good.

Negative: I would be happy if this was my own cloud recording. Because the computer takes up space on the hard drive and the machine slows down.

Summary: Wonderful. It has so many features, and you can tell Skylum puts all of its effort into this app and its updates. The price is DEFINITELY worth it for all of the features and the shear quality of them. If your a Landscape photographer, a Landscape photographer, or anyone looking to break into Photography, Luminar Neo is for you!

Positive: The Product may be on the pricy side, but compared to Adobe the price may as well be asking for the app kindly. The app is more finished than any competitor's app, and the features it has is more than enough. However, Skylum has an extension for any gripe you may have with the app! Luminar Neo also has many purchasable objects like sky replacements, Presets, and TONS of AI features! This is only scratching the surface of all Luminar Neo has to offer, so go check out the trial! Also, the support takes up to 5-10 minutes, which is hella fast!

Negative: The only bad thing would be the price, but if you think it's bad, then use PhotoScape X because this obviously isn't for you if you aren't willing to pay for it. If you are on the fence about getting Neo, try the trial!

Summary: This software is now part of my “pro” photography toolbox. In addition, the support is very responsive and all this despite the current difficulties that we are all experiencing. Congratulations to Team Skylum 🤙💙

Positive: Luminar Neo is superb photography software with a typically creative and innovative approach to AI. Intuitive and easy to use interface. This software can be used alone or in ADDITION to more classic/standard software like Lightroom Classic and Lightroom (and Photoshop) because it provides a complementary approach and vision. This is a great artistic plus and a time saver for many operations.

Negative: I use this software in addition to Photoshop and Lightroom Classic. At this stage I do not see any disadvantages because I use it for its Creative and AI qualities, for its advantages and in addition to my other classic tools.

Summary: Extremely friendly and responsive support team.

The support team members showed a lot of patience when working with me - even during holiday season. This was really insane.

Positive: After moving to the Pro version of Luminar Neo - because of the possibility to use the same version on my computer and on my laptop - I experienced problems to activate one product on my PC.

It took me one week to get the problem solved with very good support from the Skylum support team.

3. The Skylum website could use some work and differences between different types of subscriptions could be made more explicit and less confusing. Another round of usability testing with their target audience would go a long way toward solving this issue, at least in my opinion.

Positive: The option and ease of use for this software are outstanding; they also make editing photos that could be done in Photoshop--albeit not as easily or quickly--an much simpler and easier process. The ability to use Luminar Neo as a standalone product as well a filter that can be invoked from inside Photoshop makes Neo a versatile and affordable and ultimately essential tool for anyone who regulars edits and works with photography professionally or serious amateur.

Negative: The Skylum website isn't as user friendly and clear as it could be. I ended up inadvertently purchasing a second subscription when all wanted to do use add additional editing option to the subscription I already have. Similarly, the differences between what comes with a Lifetime purchase and what comes as part of the subscription service could be made more clear and explicit. In fairness; however, when I contacted their support team I received a prompt response, clear and direct answers to my question, and a very reasonable and fair solution to my problem.

Summary: A great programme for amateurs and professionals alike!

Positive: I have been using the Skylum programme since the beginning and am an enthusiastic user (even if not everything always works right away!).
But what I would really like to emphasise is the rapid assistance when there is a problem (usually of my own making)!

I can't say anything negative about the set here.

Summary: I have used several editing software’s like Photoshop, Paintshop etc but all those requires some skill and getting used to, but with Luminar Neo I was editing like a pro in less than 30 mins of getting used to.
What amazed me was the AIs and Extensions, I can turn my dull photos into amazing frame worthy pictures by just few clicks and not one can tell, for eg, that the stunning sky is not real in my picture of sunset.
Also, they have the best support team ever. I purchased an extension and entered my email address wrong, for which the extension was not showing up. I emailed support team and got a response from them in 30 mins stating that they fixed my mistake, oh! And did I mention that I emailed them on Holiday? Yet I received the response and the resolution so quickly,

Positive: Use of AI makes it so easy to edit photos like a pro.
Very easy to use interface.
Powerful AI extensions, which are super easy to use.

Negative: To be honest, I don’t find any cons, this app works just as advertised.
