The previous poll was Where do you think the price bottom is for Bitcoin this cycle? [slashdot.org] and the then current price was $28 000. It is now at $20 238. Admittedly some "central banks and governments" are doing even worse but a drop of 25% in a month does not inspire confidence.

Yeah, and I am also a fan of money supplies that protected by regulation and that don't just disappear in a puff of smoke when some crypto wallet scheme is breached* because the idiots who built the system couldn't think of the corner cases that allowed the wallet to be drained by some 3rd party who was smarter than a 10 year old.
* I'm not going say hacked, because that implies it took some actual skill to attack the wallet, rather than "Oh, you mean if I do *this*, the system doesn't verify things before giving me the money? Sweet!!!"

That's a rather broad brush that you're painting with. In your world, the only reason why people could POSSIBLY dislike Bitcoin is because they have FOMO? That's a rather convenient way to dismiss any viewpoint but your own.
Until PoW devolved to the point that it's actually having a major negative environmental impact, I couldn't care less about Bitcoin. It was yet another thing to separate fools from their money, but that didn't impact me. I can educate family and friends about the dangers of Ponzi schemes

I keep what's left of my crypto on Coinbase, which I know is a risky move. Not my keys, not my coins, and all that.
That said, the value of my crypto has dropped so damn much that the cost of something like a Trezor wallet to store it securely is worth about as much as my remaining holdings! Once you factor in the fees for transferring my various cryptocurrencies out of Coinbase, the retail value of the wallet itself would be more than the crypto that I'm storing in it.
