How come its impact on the mobile world has yet to be felt? Is it a coincidence that presence of Linux in the desktop remains negligible with Gnome 3.* as its flagship?

People often have two reasons for doing something: a good reason, and the real reason. In this case, the good reason is religion, while the real reason is the chance to exact some revenge for historical injustices.
