Journal ncc74656's Journal: Fred Phelps' Fraktards chased away from GI's funeral 6

Here's something to warm the cockles of our hearts, or maybe the subcockle area, or...oh, wait a minute...

Westboro Baptist Church Freaks Chased Away (via the Rott)

Everything you do comes back to you, whatever it may be. What you do as an angel, or what you do as a devil will come back and pay you for your deeds. This is the karma of preaching hate. I'm kinda glad the ACLU defends these idiots to spout their idiocy.

Those religious nut bags at the Westboro Baptist Church were not welcome at this funeral for a soldier who died in Iraq. They are pretty much running for their lives [like the pathetic little nancy-boys that they are--ed.] and trying to drive away as fast as possible. This crowd would have torn them limb from limb.

What else can I say about this group than I abhor them. They are lunatics. They spread their message of hate not only at gay funerals and soldier's funerals, but any high profile funeral that brings them media attention. They threatened to protest at the little Amish girls' funerals who were shot in cold blood, and made an appearance last week at the funerals of teenagers killed in a tragic school-bus accident in Huntsville. They deserve anything that happens to them in consequence to their message of hate.

  • they protested my church last week-end. i thought that it was a good sign that we must be doing something right.
    • I heard they were going to protest a soldier's funeral here in Lincoln, but our media refused to give them any attention so I don't know if it actually happened. Back in the day, my dad was program director for a station in KS, and the KKK was going to have a rally at the courthouse. Instead of getting everyone up in a tizzy to protest them, he just refused to acknowledge their plan or presence. They ended up cancelling.

The best thing we can do to people like phelps and the kkk is to ignore them... r
      • yeah - it got no play here either. i'd have never known they were in town if they hadn't warned us at church the week before, and then i asked a friend about it who was at the later service.

The best thing we can do to people like phelps and the kkk is to ignore them... really. They're retarded, and they don't speak for 99.9999% of Christians.

        I completely agree.

There are some that might try to make a parallel between muslim terrorists and Phelps and his lemmings^Wcrowd, but there's a serious difference: Phelps and his people are an annoyance, to be sure, but at least they don't go around blowing themselves up, trying to take as many people with them as they can.

  • After watching this video [youtube.com] I have to say that they really hate gays.

Part of me would like to force them to watch the San Francisco Gay Pride parade [shooter.net] and then take them and drop them into the middle of the gayest bar in the city.
  • Those fuckers were at the Indianapolis 500 Festival Parade a couple years back. Tens of thousands of people lining the streets of Indy, and just before the start of the parade would approach, these guys would walk ahead (trying to look like they were part of it) with huge, disgraceful signs bearing anti-gay slogans, yelling at people at the top of their lungs "you're all going to hell!" Some of them were even dressed in clown suits, handing out stickers to kids with some of those messages on them.
