That Sandy Berger story just got completely and totally swept under the rug.

I understand a couple big events happened in the past few days - Ford dying, Saddam being executed, but even so, NOBODY talked about the Berger story. Haven't heard a single peep out of anyone, on any forum, at any "news" agency, or anywhere at all, give it even a second of notice.

...and I feel fine.

Saddam Hussein was executed by hanging at 6:10am local time (3:10am GMT, or 10:10pm Eastern Time) on December 30, 2006.

Joseph Barbera died yesterday at age 95. Barbera was the animating half of the Hanna / Barbera duo, who have created some of the most memorable cartoon characters of all time.

I know this guy contributed to my amusement greatly as a child and still today as an adult, as I watch shows with my kids... their stuff is timeless.
