A Japanese research group claims to be able to see inside the human brain. A model trained MRI scans of 4 people watching thousands of images, can produced recognisable reconstructions of images shown to the people in the scanner.
There are many ethical questions that comes to mind.
But also important is the question wether the access to computing power is now so cheap that soon anyone can train models to do most human tasks.
