Yes, exactly my point and why the GP post is incorrect. BYD is now outselling Tesla in Europe. Their sales in 2025 are up 350%.
This isn't even mentioning the other Chinese brands.
All of the best EVs in the world right now come from China. Most of the growth in EVs in the EU is coming from Chinese brands. The US is getting left in the dust.
Nah, Kodak already went bankrupt. It emerged from bankruptcy a shell of its former self, and was profitable for a few years but seems doomed again.
The march of technology killed this company, not private equity.

When it's hot outside a very, very powerful fan is on to move the air over the cooling coils. Not sure if that's what you heard or not. It's just a fan.
FWIW, I own a Lightning
It is the best and most capable truck I have ever owned.
It is also the longest range EV of anyone I know, easily surpassing the Teslas of friends of mine.
It gets an unjustified bad rap.
The main thing to kill the Lightning was the cost. Nothing else. As a vehicle, it is amazing.
Er...
Sorry for believing that AI companies shouldn't be able to steal everyone else's work without being compensated.
Anyone who thinks that's OK is the one being intellectually dishonest
Why are you being a sycophant for these VC backed AI companies?
As it should be.
AI house-of-card companies should not be allowed to engage in rampant IP theft.
It has a huge impact because it devalues these kinds of deals and just supports the idea that these companies can run roughshod over IP rights, steal, and pillage to their hearts content without consequence.
Woz is worth over 100M. He's not sitting in the poor house.
Which is how it should work.
If AI companies want to train on data, they should have to pay for it.
Right now this entire industry is built on IP theft. Its sickening frankly.
I have a Hisense TV that has Google TV as the OS. It actually works very, very well. Its basically like having a Chromecast built into the TV and no need for a standalone box.
Experiments must be reproducible; they should all fail in the same way.
