They just did. Jobs are still being created.
A recovery more like it
First off AI needs to sit in a desk and be watched for productivity. How do we know they are really working if we don't badge swipe and see them?
AI needs full collaboration and creativity that hallway moments and using shared poopy toilets, which brings in that real company value. It can't happen.
Just ask any pointless HR rep or CEO on this?!
Yep, now we have another platform controlled by Trump's oligarchy to spew forth propaganda.
Lying about how you handle ubiquitous surveillance data is not the same as addressing privacy concerns. Addressing them means you have dispensed with the policies and practices that caused the concerns.
My Radio Shack alarm clock from 1990 still works and keeps good enough time that I only have to set it once every couple of years or so. It has a 9V battery in it that keeps time in the event of a power failure. I put a lithium 9V battery in it in 2018 and haven't had to change it since.
This premium level of convenience and performance costs me $0.00 every month.
I'm sure that serving you a lot of ads is the point of the excessive length of internet recipes, but there's another reason, too. A simple list of ingredients, or a list of instructions (like how to build Ikea furniture) cannot be copyrighted. I think many of these overly verbose recipe authors really do want to make it appear that their own takes on the recipes are distinct and innovative, and that helps them secure their own content from being scraped wholesale. But of course, AI just says, "fuck it, I can summarize," and it's pretty hard to prove it was your recipe it summarized..
damn right it does.
That would be my question. Who is fronting for this guy when he's required to go into the office?
I'm inclined to agree, but thinking about it there might be some things that an "agentic" AI could help with. Like "fill out my timecard for today" or "every time Outlook web logs me out, log back in with my credentials." You know, the things that would give the bureaucrats a heart attack if they knew I could do them instead of wasting my time.
Assuming I trusted the AI enough, of course.
No spitting on the Bus! Thank you, The Mgt.
