This is because the disadvantages are not seen by white people. Traffic stops that turn into prison or death. Home sellers not selling because the buyers have black skin. Job interviews not granted because the name sounds black. There's no way for white people to notice these things, and because they don't notice these things, they often think that such discrimination doesn't exist and such stories are made up. Instead, many white people just see how other white people have more and see that as discrimination against themselves.

While this did happen in the past and I'm sure there are some rare isolated incidents of this today....it is largely a thing of the past.

And for the past decade or two....the ONE category it is been perfectly acceptable to put down, make fun of and discriminate against is the white male.....so, I don't buy the priv. Bullshit...sorry.

Not like gender has had an effect on societies for millennia or anything.

For millennia we've had male and female (not bothering with the statistically insignificant unfortunate folks that are hermaphrodites)...dick or no dick...etc....and it's been pretty easy to deal with all this time.

Simple and no societies had problems with it...until about the last 10 years or so when some idiots tried to change natures basic rules.

Men...women....simple, who needs to study that shit other than with regard to some biology studies?

Biden's economy was GREAT. It certainly was a lot better than this economy is now. I wasn't worried about losing my job. I wasn't worried about a recession. I wasn't worried about prices doubling or more on many things.

Where do you live...maybe things are regional and just bad in your neck of the woods.

Where I'm at in the US...gas prices are down, I find grocery prices are down in some areas, about the same in others...inflation is down...job numbers nationally are UP...

It isn't so bad where I sit.....where the hell do you live where it is so bad?

What fucking voter suppression?!?!?

There was no more than there was in 2020....which as the reports then said..."no problems with the safest elections".

I'm sorry, asking for an ID to vote is NOT suppression...just common sense.

Hell, even liberal Wisconsin just voted for voter ID overwhelmingly.

For fucks sake....just how did the republicans swing and suppress the vote in all of those democrat held and run swing states and strongholds?!!?

It's ok to gripe for for God's sake...get a new talking point that has a bit more substance to it, eh?

I guess I'd welcome the EU to fund DEI research and so forth....here I'd rather fund research into real needs like cancer.

Are there really THAT many scientists out there who need research funding on the topic of DEI?

I only know of bans of shooting them in cities and maybe other areas that are fire dangers, but I've not heard of a state wide prohibition of selling them or posessing them.

Well, it may be along the lines of, that the Feds can regulate interstate commerce ....and cars are manufactured and sold across the states....an so, CA banning a broad category would have an effect on interstate commerce .

Abortion, really doesn't fit in that category of trade....without a LOT of stretching the legal terms of things....
