Oh my. A post trolling for people who actually know something about patents. And moderated 4, insightful, as well. My, oh my. I believe, for the most part, in the purposes of the US Constitution, which says in part: "To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries." Now, there are MANY implementation details we can debate, but I challenge your assertion that we should do away with patents. That is a bad idea. For society, and for inventors. But, maybe not for you.
