Then you need this gold and this copper. Simple as that.

If you *really* don't want it from Earth then the Left need to stop hating on Elon and encourage him to mine asteroids or the Moon.

There's never been a better time to be alive, and as usual good times are breeding weak sons.

The world is comparatively peaceful and well off, and so these discount drama queens are looking for problems where few really exist. Global temperatures are stable and consistent with emerging from an Ice Age. China, Iran and North Korea were successfully contained under the last US administration and they haven't recovered yet. Putin is keeping the Ukraine conflict contained despite NATO provocation. And US cities are only being burned down in a "mostly peaceful" way. All is pretty safe right now, really.

"Won't someone think of the cute ikkle fishes?"

Eco-loons might like the idea of us all living back in the Stone Age, but 5 years ago the US economy was the biggest the world had ever seen with an unparalleled standard of living, and at the same time emissions were at a historic low compared with the rest of the First World.

There's a balance that was struck at the time, successful and which can be repeated with sensible regulations. And if that means the extinction of the Striped California River Sardine so that farmers can water their land to feed us then *shrug* I'm really fine with that.

Comment Stupid (Score 0) 50

Last week Stanford issued an instruction listing words you couldn't use at the university. One of those words is "stupid" - which is why instead in the article we have "were more likely to believe". The other option would have been "Democrat voter".

They also banned the word "picnic", because it's apparently racist now. Which is stupid.

Scamming 'lawmakers' who are abusing their bully pulpit to cry mUh kLiMaTe ChAnGe to make money whilst they're in office for themselves and their corrupt friends. Scaremongering to drive money towards their own investments.

This so-called 'climate change' scam will carry on forever because there's too much money in it now. Nobody will define an end goal, a good temperature, a good ice level, a good number of polar bears, because to do that would destroy the whole skill of the grift. That there can never be a target because then we'd reach it through organic technological advances and everyone would run out of ways to make bank.

Lock up a few lawmakers and grifting scientists, though, and everyone will soon give this fraud a swift reality check.

Predictable. It's time we recognised how dangerous the mUh kLiMaTe ChAnGe kool aid drinkers really are. The Left have been feeding this fire for decades now and they've bred a generation of brainwashed killers. Simultaneously they've been trying to end gun ownership and end the death penalty so that we can't defend ourselves.

These things are all connected. This is the intended destruction of society working as planned by the Dems.

Yes, agree. That's exactly what these so-called 'fact checkers' are doing. Dressing up their opinion as fact.

It's true; some of them don't want to face reality, but others do know the truth and yet they misuse the bully-pulpit of their 'fact checker' status to push their own narrative.

Comment Facts/Opinions (Score 0) 297

So-called 'fact checking' is simply someone else expressing their own opinion. It's a fraud to dress up a different point of view and push an alternative narrative with a veneer of elitist respectability. Someone anonymously 'fact checking' from behind his screen in an office has the same bias and political views as when he's anonymously shit-posting at home, and that usually shows.
