Journal Timex's Journal: I have this theory... 3

My previous JE was submitted as a story. It's been a week now, and not even a rejection.

Here's my theory: the JE-as-a-story-submission system is a little whacked. Perhaps it should have a more specific link, for cases when someone writes a JE, submits it as a story, and one or more JEs have been written in the time it takes an Editor to finally go check it out.

There's a reason for my theory, though. I got this rejection slip (standard Slashdot formatting butchering expected):

The JE that was actually submitted was a few before that, though. I can handle getting my story suggestions "rejected". It happens to submissions all the time. It would just be nice to have them rejected for the right reason.
