That's not how it works, Flock identifies a suspected vehicle, detective (the one that gets paid to think) has to check the provided evidence before asking for an arrestwarrant, and in the end the patrolofficers just execute the warrant, they have to rely on the person issuing it to do their job properly and not having to question the warrant.

And that's the whole point yeah, Flock isn't to blame, any false arrest due to tye use of flock cameras is up to the police for not doing their job, checking the images/videos provided by flock these flock cameras or any data provided by any automated system. It's just plain incompetence if they don't check properly before doing any arrest.

Cooling and radiation are just some problems that need to be overcome, but without actual practical tests it'll be harder to do. It's not like we don't already have electronics up there, you think a Starlink sattellite doesn't already have highend cpus to handle all the data it needs to process 24/7?

If those companies (and its backers) didn't have that much influence back then we would have been driving EV's for a century and battery technology would have been MUCH further as it is now, or maybe even no batteries needed at all if we are to believe the secret Tesla EV that didn't require batteries.

People really are bad at driving generally, almost all accidents are caused by a human driver not paying attention while driving, not due to some technical failure of the car itself (in 'first world' countries).

Looking at hollywood you don't need ideas or creativity, most are remakes, reboots or rehashes of 'foreign' movies... So many books still not done as a movie or series, and I certainly see AI doing these in the future where you just tell you want to watch a certain book, give it a runtime and a style, and it'll generate a 'hollywood quality' show you can watch immediately.

Chinese movies are more than only Kung Fu, and a lot of times their movies are even more entertaining as a lot of hollywood movies. I've seen many chinese movies (with original audio, not the horrible english dubs) and they tend to feel different compared to hollywood movies, and maybe that's why I like them too.

Next version coming out are what you want, light glasses with puck at belt. But having used several headsets with a tethered batterypack(for very long times), I can honestly say that I'd rather have a slightly heavier headset with everything built in. The Pico 4 is a great example of a perfectly balanced headset, and I can easily play for many hours, but I do have to extend it with an extra batterypack sadly. Quest without a thirdparty headstrap sure is much less comfortable, but there are a few excellent comfortable headstraps out, and even with hitswappable batterypacks.

Does it matter it is niche? Isn't golf niche? Isn't surfing niche? Isn't carting niche? So many hobbies which require 'expensive' extras to do are out there, why should VR be any different, why would it need to be mainstream? Or just look at sims, people spend thousands of dollars on controllers, special seats or extra monitors.
