The spring is sprunging, spranged, will have spronged?
Happy first day of sproing!!!!!
*sproi-oingggg*
and now, welcome to silly songs with dragons, where a dragons sings something silly. Sorry, zadr, we were rearranging the studio yesterday, no recording of unsilly somethings. So here's something silly:
dull is the ground
the trees are still bare
but i understand
there's springs under there
something that makes
the green blades rise
is plotting the cold
old winter's demise
dull is the ground
the leaves are unseen
but i know the secret
of springs in the green
i know the secret
of springs under ferns
and flowers just lining up
waiting their turns
the trees are all waking,
the bunnies go boing.
and spring will spring out-
i mean sprunged- i mean- SPROING!!!
Spring always makes me silly.
March madness meant something back before basketball, ya know. It was the time when animals (and people) went crazy with spring.
So, welcome to spring.
Do something silly.
Me, i brought angel food cake to eat at lunch. Last night i had cake before dinner.
Write a silly spring poem! remember, in the words of tom lehrer- "It sounds more ethnic if it ain't good english, and it don't even gotta rhyme..."
SIlly silly!!!
(SPROING!)
also, i challenge you to use the word "Sproinged," in serious conversation with another adult today.

And do the February March
We'll have an Old Man Winter-ectomy
We're gonna march him out of town
We're gonna burn Jack Frost in effigy

And in the air that dulls like Novocaine
We'll have a break I have a hunch
