Look, it's blatantly obvious you hate LLMs, we know, and that's completely fine, but you can't re-word someone's rebuttal to you into total nonsense and then proceed by calling them "Pathetic" and "not very smart". If anything it just makes you sound like one orange man we all know too well (unfortunately). But you do you.

Interesting in what way? The cost of a game won't go up because of this, because the cost of games hasn't gone up in several decades. In fact, it was down for some time and only now coming back up to what we used to see in the cartridge-console days. Will they push for more microtransactions to fund this new cost? Likely. Maybe. But your statement is about as hollow as it gets.. at least give us the entertainment of an actual take.

Who do you go fishing with, what restaurant do you go to, why fly anywhere, with no people all the expensive ski trips, weddings in exotic locations etc etc all become meaningless or completely unavailable.

I'm sorry for your situation, my previous comment definitely didn't consider that, but this is extremely naive. These people don't give a fuck about "going fishing with friends", they are not normal people and can easily imagine themselves in a world where us pesky middle-class are gone and they get to just enjoy the world without us with their robots tending to their every need. It's not about fulfillment it's that they actually believe they're *that* special.

Are you trolling?

The will to survive is built into everything. If you don't care to survive that's not peace, that's a mental illness. It's not about "scrabbling in the dirt to eke out a few more years", it's about the off-chance that no matter how bad it is, you might make it through.

You still have to work, but it's hard to argue against the economics of it: a single developer can 10x output with ease, and the quality is significantly better than most developers can produce. It speeds architectural design significantly and improves associated outcomes, even when you know what you're doing. It helps identify faults.

You kind of had me hooked until this part. I'm going to have to see some real numbers here because everytime someone has helped me recently and "vibe-coded" away a solution, it 100% of the time resulted in rework for me where they would've been better off just not helping.

Is that anecdotal? Yes. Have I ever heard of a situation where this is not the case? No.
