Thank you. There's nothing funny or dismissing about a person threatening people with violent force if they were to somehow "make the wrong decision." These people need to be institutionalized and helped. If they can't be helped, lock them up.

Is threatening bodily harm not a felony? I don't even think I'm being excessive here, we really need to reign in these lunatics. Better them than a bunch of innocent people while the culprit claims lunacy after getting caught for the act he's threatening to do... There's just nothing funny here.

100% agree.

With all that money though, especially in 2020, you can do a lot of good right here on the rock we call home. Wouldn't that be better right now? I sure hope the people approving budget feel the same because sending money into space at the moment is just not the right thing to do. ... and don't give me none of that "but the planet is dying and we need to find a way out!" because that's horseshit and you know as well as I do that spending 28 billion AMERICAN dollars to put a person on the moon FIFTY ONE years after we already have isn't going to do that. Yes we'll advance technologically a little and yes it will have some benefits as a result, but we need that help HERE, at HOME. NOW.

We can talk about space once we have our Earthly deeds figured out. It's really not that hard but we collectively make it so. I want to see us go out there as well, but now is not the time to talk space unfortunately.

Why is this up-modded +5 Insightful? It's pure satire.

An insightful comment makes you reflect on something and expands your knowledge on it. This literally just pokes at all the holes in people's arguments about climate change, in a troll-y way.

Best case you've confirmed you're not on the wrong side of the argument, which is great. Worst case you've triggered some poor sop's confirmation bias and he now thinks someone else agrees with him on a lot of these points you made fun of.

Is this a legitimate up-mod, sir and/or madam?

What about all those jobs you've just slashed in favor of your automated dream land? Who's going to make the money to spend to buy all this shit that robots are now making for you? Just redistribute it from the rich, amirite?

See, you need to think farther than your own little bubble of life when expressing your opinion on things like this.

So you're saying that the other side has absolutely no bearing on this discussion? That we may only focus on one side of the problem?

I don't condone violence of any kind, but yes, all fucking lives matter and I don't fucking care who or what color you are, that remains true. Maybe use a better slogan or don't be so knee-jerk to another slogan that "ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE".

Give up with the fucking divisiveness. Band together, fix the problems together, move forward together. Stop it with the Us vs Them, it's really getting tiresome.
