    • You and me both, brother! We should start a zero-man march, or something.
    • I suppose the "army of one" thing would've been a bit inappropriate anyway, what with me being an Air Force brat and all. :-) Still, I don't know if being told that I don't exist is all that it's cracked up to be.

      Maybe this means I can dodge my income taxes and not get caught. :-)

      (I guess that means they didn't get their name info from the IRS.)

    • My girlfriend's last name didn't register, but there are 767 Bryan Thompsons running around out there. 223rd most popular first name and 17th most common last name.
  • Apparently there are people named Jason Jason. Why, I don't know (not that it is my last name or anything).

        Thank you on all counts. I'm just glad my ex and I broke up now, instead of after the posting (she's never been out of Newfoundland, I'm being posted at the end of January).

    But apparently there are 1,380 people with the same last name.

    I bet 1350 are in Minnesota though.

    Frankly, that seems low. I've met about 4, I see around 10-15 on Google on a regular basis. Is it unlikely that I've run across the high a percentage? Or is the observation paradox? I.e. I on;y notice (and track, to any degree) those, because we have the same name?

    That kinda surprised me. Tried it as both a forename and a surname, but both came up blank. Oh well.

    • on my chosen server (gilneas) in WoW, there is a player named tethys.

      I asked him 'are you tet from slashdot?'

      he said ,"what the hell are you talking about! For the last time, NO!"

      I thought this was interesting, as i'd never asked him before.

      Apparently, i'm not your only stalker.

  • There are 3 of my name that I know of: my grandfather, my father, and myself. My son has it too but I can understand that they don't have a 4 year old up there yet. But the site only says there are 2 with my last name....I wonder which one of us is missing...
