OpenAI has been paying attention to what it takes to create a too big to fail operation. The question is did they use their product to inform them how best to do this.

My thinking as well. Once monetization of social media was perfected all of the "silent" voices could now be heard. Unfortunately, many of those voices were partisan hacks. We may never know for certain if Walter Cronkite was a decent person but he did attempt to be a gatekeeper for news, maybe even things that matter.

If you need a tool like this, like some of us have, you wouldn't be so dismissive of this news. Probably not a big deal in the long run but GParted filled a need.

Probably one of Microsoft's best effort at product scaling over time. 40 years is pretty good.

I started reading Compute magazine during the late 1970s which led to my first Commodore 64. Byte magazine was a big part of the mix. I used the same C64 to dial in to a PDP-11 for my CS degree mid 80s. The application I used as a terminal (do not recall the name) emulated a 80 column CRT on the 40 character C64. Cool times.

Verizon may suck as a general rule but symmetrical FIOS is good.

Exploring the deep oceans along with space gets my vote. Seems as habitable and a lot closer.

I have Skype credit which I assume I will lose but the bigger issue for me is Teams as a replacement. I have no experience with it but after a brief test drive it appears to be much more than I need to make an international phone call.
