Every single climate disaster prediction has fallen far, far, short of the "experts" claims of impending doom. I agree that climate change is occurring and the planet is warming. Scare mongering just gives fuel to the ones who deny this. It's like "experts" never heard the story of the boy who cried wolf. I still remember people laughing at the signs posted in Glacier National Park.
I don't know why they do such stupid shit. It's the reason people hate them now, the constant bullshit and propaganda.

Yes, the only thing that makes sense is swapping the batteries. Anything else causes too many problems.
The average coal miner makes over $20 an hour. In most of the places where mining is performed this is very good money. That's a bit over 40K a year while the median pay for coders is a little over 80K. Given the need to move to another location and most likely in an area where prices are much higher it might actually result in a lower standard of living.
In a large urban area a public transportation system is as vital as the roadway itself. It's insane not to have one. I've lived in big cities although now I live in the country and I always used public transport when possible. Now I'm retired so I stay home for days or weeks at a time and I've debated just getting rid of the car and calling for a ride the 3 or 4 times a month I want to go somewhere. But then I'm a hermit.
Millions of fully sane people have gone to gun ranges for decades. It's only lately that nutjobs have been making it an issue.
For sure there would have to be a way to move large loads. Not just guns but all kinds of things.
I make a trip to the grocery store for a big purchase maybe once a week at most. How many major supermarkets are downtown? But yes, there are exceptions.

Every single time I ask one of these climate nuts what temperature the Earth is supposed to be they start foaming at the mouth in rage. It's such a simple question. How can you have a discussion about Climate if you don't know what temperature it's supposed to be?
