When you don't look forward to teaching, it's time to retire and get a different job. How helpful is a teacher who shows he doesn't like dealing with his students to the point where he doesn't want to enter his own classroom. (Forget about which LLM, or whatever he thinks is important to not use.) This reminds me of when teachers thought using a calculator was cheating.

If we have Microsoft, or any other big conglomorate, run a nuke plant, then THEY should have to put up the money up front for the cleanup of the nuclear waste and the cleanup of any failures of the plant. They should not be allowed to not rely on tax dollars now or in the future if the plant goes Chernobyl or Fukushima on us.

Yes, I do the same with public computers where I live. I personally like Mint xfce, as it's very easy for ex-Windows users. I put shortcuts on the desktop to Writer(LibreOffice Write) and Web Browser(Firefox). (and I put shortcuts to the major email providers in Firefox's toolbar, to make life even easier.) That's good enough for a lot of people.

My first reaction was, "I should get this in a hurry." But then I thought, I haven't used MSO in years, am happy with LibreOffice, and before that, StarOffice. So why waste money on MSO? All my computers in the last many years have LO on them, Linux, Winders, and Mac. I'm happier with that than I was with my previously free or discounted MSO.

What a coincidence. I will completely stop using fossil fuels by 2060! Of course, most of us won't be alive then, so it's a pretty easy promise to make! Are you tired of countries promising about some good they will do in 40 years? Heck, it took less than 40 years for us to go to the moon from when we decided to do that! And we had to invent a whole lot of stuff to be able to do so.
