Hard to get a malware attack from a bottle of ink you put in a tank printer. SMH that printer cartridges have sufficient silicon to allow a malware attack.... Anyone looked at hacking a printer with open sourced code, ala that well known router?
IOW, people are buying them in the hope that they're going to be able to sell them for more, unplayed. If they want to listen to it, they'll do it on Spotify etc. CDs never had a collectible appeal.
But it's typically buried down under a submenu on the head unit. I tuned in the local stations on a Camry, but I've never actually used it. There's mobile coverage on all the roads here that I use. If I was going outback, I'd be getting a satellite phone. And a much different car.
