Yes that will totally happen LOL.

Forcing this into a car is stupid, cars are quickly abandoned in actual emergencies
I thought EV batteries were going to power civilization in an emergency...?
There will be more people disconnected from the Internet
Disconnected people are not a viable product.
Subsidize baby formula and diapers. And make onsite daycare services required at larger companies in order to normalize the practice.
Or give grandma a room in your home rather than the "retirement community." That worked for many millennia.
Great if your elderly parents can care for your newborns. Definitely sucks if you have to care for both newborns and elderly parents.
Today, those assistants can use Reddit to answer questions, but after closing public API access, they will need to forgo commercial deals with Reddit for its data.
I think they meant forge commercial deals, OTOH I do see a lot of forgoing happening. I forgo Reddit regularly.
Help to navigate complex government systems is welcome and sounds like a good use of AI. I don't think I would trust it with my personal details though, so maybe it can just point me to the forms I can fill out
Pretty likely they have already fed it all the personal data they have on you, and when you fill out the forms they will simply feed those in too.
You're right. Some of my friends were banned from travel to communist or communist-adjacent countries during the Cold War, by a supposedly 'freedom-loving' country.
You mean like Cuba? Are Americans free to travel there now?
I trust China a lot more than Trump.
Pretty much the entire world does at this point.
Yes, why would you want to use an embedded OS that is optimized for touch display, on hardware that is trivial to turn into an embedded system with a touch display...
Fair enough, touchscreens on Linux are indeed hit and miss. I thought Android on non-phone/tablets was much the same.
My advice: don't lament Raspberry Pi RAM upgrades, especially given they're only slightly harder to perform now.
My advice is to not be a cuck. The raspi people made it harder for you to tinker with your own hardware and you should not appreciate that any more than in the earliest days when Liz promised us that they were going to release Android for the Pi and then never did. They've been customer-unfriendly from the beginning, when they were selling boards with dumb mistakes that ruined them for many purposes (remember raspi A USB fails? remember the MANY power supply failures?) and then telling us we should suck it up and be happy to have got them at all.
There are Android images available for the Orange Pi I have. No idea why you would want to run that over a real Linux distro unless your really need a phone app of some sort.
Do the 2027 BMWs still have the newer grilles that look like beaver teeth? They lost their way at 8 and 12 cylinders. S52 here.
E36 is a classic, nice. I'm looking to switch from an M240i to an M2. They still have the normal grilles. Nothing against beavers, I'm Canadian, but I don't love the new ones either.
2027? Did you use a DeLorean to get that?
Wait
'27 MY BMWs are available now too.
There's a pattern here folks.
People inclined to conspiracy theories tend to see them everywhere?
A three camera cluster should do - any one goes off line the other two can still coordinate laser fire.
Now that is thinking like a true public safety official!
"Hackers ripped down a Flock camera above a roadway,
Flock will install camera cameras to watch their traffic cameras.
I hope they need camera camera cameras too.
