If drivers can't pass due to the design of the car, then dumb down the car. Constantly adding more electronics is no longer a race between drivers.

Cars don't need to be fast to be entertaining unless you are at a drag race. Nimble cars that can pass at any time when the other driver makes a small mistake are much more entertaining. By adding deploy-able wings in the turns they take almost all the chances for a driver to make a mistake in the turn completely out of the competition. Might as well be racing slot cars with all the tech in these things.

Must be within a second behind to use a feature? Essentially a turbo-boost button? The controllable surface wings I might get but this is all getting ridiculous.

They aren't drivers they are video gamers sitting in a rolling computer chair.

Take all the electronics out including power brakes and power steering. Now it is a true competition between drivers.

I get it, RAM producers are always playing catch up - but abandoning an entire market is not playing catch up it is throwing them under the bus on the way to the bank.

Yes if it gets so bad the value of your number in the bank is gone - some of you doomsayers will be right. I guess you'll be happy to be right up until that same fate falls on you.

And by meaning trust for today's input I don't mean decide to trust - it's just input for a fancy database query with math and a random number generator.
