It states they developed alot of things, especially when it comes to maths and astronomy.

Mongol invasion seems to have put a stop to it. So don't think innovation is haram.

After all even now Saudi Arabia has a bunch of research centres, focused on energy, AI, health, etc.

And watching the company execs who fired a bunch of people cos AI can "do their work / help the other staff to do their work", and finding out a while later that they actually need those people back cos (surprise!) AI can't do the whatever work and they screwed up.

Assuming what you said about the Linux drivers are true (dont know as I have not really tried gaming in Linux in years), you got an option of no ray tracing and poor ray tracing under linux.

Sounds like poor wins in this case (again, assuming your statement is true, having no direct experience with gaming in Linux in years).

The price difference could be due to charging what the local market can handle.

You may get to sell alot of vehicles for 35k USD (in Europe, US, Canada, etc), but not as many in China or India for example. So you either make a cheaper version(local manufacturering / features / functionality) or if your margins are good enough, you can afford to price it lower for the market which is more sensitive, or you dont get to sell as much.

Maybe this will force the change from car culture in the US?

And US exported vehicles will be less useful outside the US over time (since they will probably lag technologically compared with other car companies who have been looking at EVs and other things).

It will be interesting to see how long the established car makers in the US can survive with just the local market available and not being able to compete externally.

Now imagine what someone with a budget can do.

Imagine some group/individual created a video of a similar attack like Sept 11 in some other well known buildings in the US. Maybe have it show Trump being injured, and making a statement about fighting back and killing whoever he doesnt like currently (Democrats? LGBT? People who don't look white?)

You can bet there will be mass panic/rioting in some parts of the US. And a bunch of people will be killed.

Wonder what will the response be after that.

1 mil lines of code per engineer per month means no human review of most of the code, at all.

They already got rid of the QA department some years ago. Are they planning to get rid of the engineers as well? Maybe in the end they are planning for managment to tell "AI" what they want and for it to automagically create the software with zero human review of anything?

No QA. No Engineers. And a "AI" which may just hallucinate anytime and since no human oversight, nobody notices until something goes very bad.
