There's always going to be a systemic problem so long as we have capitalism, because capitalism relies upon maintaining a systemic problem, specifically, workers being paid less than the value of their labour, which is, on average, where profits come from..

Of course if you get rid of capitalism then you get a different systemic problem, massive shortfalls in production, making everyone worse off. Much like democracy, capitalism is the worst system except for all of the others.

I use the magsafe on my laptop. I almost always use the laptop in the same place and only charge it there, so it's not getting mixed into my collection and picked back out, and the magsafe is somewhat easier to fumble into place than USB-C. If I was using it long enough somewhere different to need to charge it, I'd grab a USB-C (probably already nearby), rather than collecting the magsafe from where it's set up.

Every channel, every streaming service is teeming with content demanding your attention, and there are simply too few hours in the day to watch them all.

The writer certainly has a... unique... outlook on this, I suppose. But I can't say I ever hear anyone say "gosh, there just isn't enough time available for me to watch everything I want to watch!"

No, what I hear is - "why are these streaming services putting out so much absolute crapola nowadays?"

They could include things like special lines at immigration, rather than just visa requirements. Arriving in Amsterdam with an EU passport is much less of a hassle than arriving with a US passport, but they both count the same on this report. Then there's the question of whether you need a permit to stay indefinitely, or just the passport.

Real 'Muricans don't leave the ol' US of A. Anyone who regularly travels beyond driving range of their home town is suspicious, frankly.

Those that bought a laptop with MagSafe 2 could use their MagSafe 1 chargers with an adapter.

I had several of those! They worked really well, and were only ten bucks I think.

Main reason I liked them was I had a few right-angle MagSafe 1 chargers (from old Airs I think), which didn't appear to be an option with MagSafe 2.
