I don't see any reason to cut children off from a massive source of information that can explain a complex topic to them in a thousand different ways to help them learn just because they can go to Facebook and you are too obsessed with corporations rights to stop them from doing terrible things to children.

Seriously this isn't hard. Break up Facebook. Enforce antitrust law. Stop letting them buy up their competitors every time one comes along and you can have social media platforms that are designed to not rip children to pieces. Do a few other basic regulations problem solved.

And statistically you probably been the victim of some crime or another at some point if only porch pirates. Pretty sure I just had one steal package from me. Human beings simply do not have the critical thinking skills necessary to cope with that much bullshit. With a lot of effort I think we could get most people to have those critical thinking skills but that would piss off religious people because anyone with substantial critical thinking skills who sits down and reads a holy book might still believe in God when they're done but they're not going to believe in religion. I run Pi-Hole. When I'm not on my home network, I connect my device to it over OpenVPN and force the device to use my Pi-Hole as the DNS server---it's an OpenVPN option. So I have Pi-Hole protection wherever I am.

And this, kids, is why everyone should be running multiple layers of ad-blocking. Get your Pi-Hole set up. And stick to a browser that lets you have multiple ad-blocking extensions. And for the love of $DEITY, don't use Facebook, Instagram, etc. on your phone.
