    Up and coming RMM

    Date: Jun 23 2020

Summary: Switched from a competitor a few months ago and they exceeded my expectations. All of the promises made during the initial kickoff call were delivered.

Positive: Exciting feature road-map, diverse integrations, 2FA, useful power-user and end-user tools, and excellent support.

Negative: Native control of Bitdefender for Mac, Bitlocker integration, Linux support, and HyperV integration are all still a work in progress. These are listed as in development, so they shouldn't be a problem for too much longer.

Summary: Perfect for Novice Techs new to the RMM world. Makes diagnostics easy for Windows and Mac devices.
    Scripting is perfect.

    Positive: Easy to learn quickly
Deploying new Endpoints is as easy as running a .MSI file
BitDefender integration with WebGUI is fantastic
Remote Task Manager makes "my pc is slow" diagnostics easy
Remote File Explorer makes moving files in the background so so easy
Scripting works PERFECTLY! This is the key right here.

Negative: BitDefender integration for Mac is a little rough but they're working on it still. It has been getting consistently better though.

    Perfect for Windows Endpoints

    Date: Jun 23 2020

Summary: Good product at the right price.
    Easy buying experience with salesman.
Easy to contact my Account Manager.
Support Center is FANTASTIC. Shout-out to Jaclyn for being fantastic during my entire Migration process.

Positive: Windows integration for even my oldest servers that I have to manage (Windows Server 2008) all the way up to my newest Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10 Build 2004 Endpoints.
Mac integration is great and is far superior than other RMM Providers (I'm looking at your ITarian)
VMWare Support is fantastic allowing for VMs to properly shutdown and restart as necessary.
Pricing was a plus, my account manager and salesman were fantastic throughout the entire process
USA Based Tech Support (Florida) makes it easy to get things resolved quickly

Negative: Linux integration is near to nothing, their Roadmap does show they're working on Linux integration which looks promising. Hopefully comes quick!

The Most User Friendly and Powerful RMM

    Date: Jun 23 2020

Summary: Recommended x5. If you believe in quality, efficiency, and reliability. This is the RMM software to use. I've grown from IT break-and-fix to a full MSP service provider using Ninja and after testing all the competition RMM, I would pick Ninja in a heartbeat.

Positive: User experience is well-thought-out; it beats down the major competition. Someone with the least IT knowledge can start using this tool in no time.
Very reliable when it comes to IT automation and tasks
Useful mobile app for techs on the go and quick access to details.
Awesome customer services email and phones.

Negative: They're a new full RMM software provider, and they've added great features in the past year to their system compared to a competition that already has many functionalities because they've in the game longer. It can be both advantageous or disadvantageous with the competition because more features don't necessarily mean efficiency and ease of use. We've been fine without them and found ways to run our business while they grow to full-blown MSP software.

Negative: Some of the scheduling options can be more flexible.

    Awesome System

    Date: Jun 23 2020

Summary: We had a little bit of a rocky start, there is a bit of a learning curve to set up and make sure you have it set up to your organization. Once you figure out what Ninja is capable of, and how you want to structure your organization(s), it becomes easier. Overtime, it becomes simplistic, and our users are grateful with how easy it is for us to remote to them to assist. We do not have to be in the office either, or use a VPN, being cloud accessible makes it easier for those of us who support the company as a whole.

Positive: It is easy to manage our systems on our network and assist everyone throughout the company. It is simple to manage and maintain, easy to deploy, and best of all, it is accessible for all staff from anywhere. Especially during this time of social distancing.

Negative: It does take a little bit to learn, but once the ball starts rolling, it doesn't stop. Take the time to learn it correctly.

Features get added quickly and they really do listen to the needs of their MSPs. Our rep Nicole has been awesome at making us feel like part of the Ninja family,

    Positive: Software is very intuitive.
    New features get released often.
Real time file explorer, task manager and registry editor are amazing.

Negative: We've been using Ninja for years and any cons we had were addressed in new releases.

NinjaRMM saves time and makes it easier to do a better job.

    Date: Jun 23 2020

Summary: As an IT Director in a small company you’re always looking for tools that can help you do more for less. The IT department tends to be spread thin. It’s easy to miss things you should see. I was struggling to keep up when I found NinjaRMM over 3 years ago.

Installation was easy, the learning curve was short, and they continue to add features and make improvements.

NinjaRMM has given me better visibility of our entire installation. I’m spending less time than before and doing a better job. That’s the definition of improved efficiency.

    Positive: NinjaRMM:
    - Has a short learning curve to get started.

    - Brings familiar tools and processes into one interface.

    - Is flexible, every rule doesn’t apply to every machine you manage.

    - Allows you to define groups of machines into categories that make sense to you.

    - Warns you of potential problems that you previously may have not seen until it was too late.

    - Has scheduling tools and scripts to automate many tasks.

    - Offers remote capability to both help users and keep you out of the office late at night.

    - Has been invaluable in helping us give our users remote access during COVID-19.

Negative: NinjaRMM still depends on some third-party tools that are not 100% under their control.

And, it has more features than I have time to learn. (Is that a pro or con?)

    Awesome Software

    Date: Jun 23 2020

Summary: Like most MSP's I have struggled to find something that is cost effective and works. I have been through the nightmare of Connect-Wise and regret that decision every day! Ninja was a great choice for us and is getting better daily.

Positive: The ease of setup and installation for policies and deployment are beyond easy. Pricing is very competitive and Sales & Tech are always available.
The list of Integrations available is growing to support the needs of MSP's such as myself.

Negative: Navigation can use a little tweaking but nothing that I would normally complain about, however I had to put something in this block.

    Just plain easy to use...

    Date: Jun 23 2020

Summary: Compared to Kaseya, Datto, and Connectwise (the other solutions I've used) Ninja is the absolute no-brainer. No University study classes, no month long training and onboarding, no need to rely on a team of engineers to get it running. A few clicks and things just work. Not only do they work, the items you are looking for are well laid out and designed so its really easy to figure things out on the fly.

When I first started using Ninja, I shy'ed away from the search function. Took awhile to work that into my work flow. It has now become my source for everything. The responsiveness and completeness makes diving through menu structures pretty obsolete.

The integrations with 3rd party platforms all appear to be well designed and functional...as long as Teamviewer stops making major changes...the integrations are also fully complete, compared to other solutions I've worked with which take an enormous effort to set up and usually end up only half implemented.

Canned reports are useful and fairly comprehensive, but I find that I usually end up using the search function with filters for most reporting needs (very easy to do). Could possibly use a little more robustness in this category, but overall they function well and are very easy to use.

Ninja does not yet do all of the things the major players in the field do, but they do the core RMM functions better than anyone else. Its fast, responsive, intuitive, and just plain easy to use.

Positive: Quick and easy to set up with no instruction or training
    Unmatched Search functionality
    Simple integration interface
Simple and easy to use policy interface (but powerful)
Well thought out and executed integration
Navigation is very easy and responsive
NMS Tests allows us to completely retire other alerting systems
It just works, and works well
If you are lucky enough to get Nicole as your rep, then you're golden.

Negative: Reports have come a long way, and are good, but not yet great
Alerting is good, but not very granular

Great Product, Great Staff, and a very responsive development team!

    Date: Jun 23 2020

Summary: Overall, Ninja has grown a lot with their features and support. The product is very scalable and offers easy deployment and management, even for large organizations with multiple locations across the USA. Overall, definitely worth the purchase and continued use!

Positive: We partnered with Ninja as we both are young companies, and the growth between the two and the integrations we have achieved are amazing.

The tool is very easy to use and gives our support team a wide variety of tools at their disposal.

Scripting and automation items are very easy to use and fairly comprehensive for the ease of use.

Reporting on devices for organizations are very straightforward and easily keeps our clients up to date on their hardware.

Negative: There is no dark mode, yet. But it is on the roadmap
The TeamViewer integration can be a bit wonky at times, but there is a feature we have yet to enable that will fix it so I can't really say it is a "con" per se, yet.

Great interface with all the bells and whistles we need!

    Date: Jun 23 2020

Summary: Never had a better experience with a third-party MSP software company. We've used the blue logo guys, the orange guys and others. If you're looking for all of your normal RMM services at a price that's competitive with every other solution that we've looked at. But then there's the support. Our account manager pokes at our service manager just to check and see if we're happy with service. This is a nice, personal touch that's lacking in the tech field, today.

Positive: For the last few years, our company has been using Ninja as the proactive solution before customers ever discover that they have a problem! I particularly like the NMS feature as it helps me monitor our business accounts that use our hosting services. I also handle the scripting for our RMM products and so far, Ninja has had the most improvement in library and community scripts that we've found.

Negative: I wasn't a huge fan of the reporting, which has recently been roadmapped for huge changes. It was a bit lackluster and as company accounts manager, I needed reports to show to the customers as "proof of concept" for having RMM services.

    Edited: Jun 23 2020

Summary: We have tried a few RMM in our time and landed with NinjaRMM. We have been very pleased with its performance, customization and branding.

    Positive: - Automation on point
    - Easily customized and maintained
    - only RMM that has properly done patching for us
    - Great branding/integrations

Negative: - Needs more community Scripts
    - Would like it cheaper (doesnt everyone?)
