    Love Ninja

    Date: Jun 28 2020

Summary: Ninja RMM hits the sweet spot of being easy to configure and use while being fairly priced. We could not be happier with our selection of NinjaRMM.

Positive: Having been a SolarWinds RMM (tired platform) and Continuum RMM (too expensive) customer in the past, we are thrilled with our migration to NinjaRMM! The platform simply just works! We love the ease of navigation through the portal and alerting, patching, and remote access are simple to configure and use. Highly recommended.

Negative: Although a necessary evil these days, the additional prompts to enter a 2FA code when adding a new user or making a minor configuration change are cumbersome since we already had been authenticated with 2FA when logging in.

Easy to use with great management features

    Date: Jun 26 2020

Summary: Ninja is great for remote access, troubleshooting, and fixing issues fast. Made our help desk process much more fluid.

Positive: Ninja makes remote access easy and secure forget about vpn, blah blah just install ninja and use TeamViewer. If that doesn’t work (unusual) spin up a Remote Desktop session that’s secured.

Monitor all the disk usage, memory, etc of all your devices with the ability to remote file transfer, reset services, etc.

Negative: Can be a little clunky, especially the need to use the back button in the browser which feels kind of dated.

NMS licensing is expensive for what you get. I thought it was based on NMS installs but turns out it is per device not per listener.

    Fantastic Software!

    Date: Jun 26 2020

Summary: I've been using NinjaRMM for 8+ months at my job and I couldn't imagine my job without it! It makes remotely managing client machines simple and intuitive.

Positive: UI, convenience, 2FA, dynamic information, system monitoring, software integration, filtering options that are completely custom to narrow down search results for machines.

Negative: Truly, I cannot think of any cons with this software.

    Great RMM Solution

    Date: Jun 26 2020

Summary: Overall, Ninja has definitely improved productivity and response time. Being able to be alerted of when a server or organization has gone offline, before the client even calls. The constant improvements and fixes keep polishing Ninja to be an even better RMM Solution.

Positive: Information and Alerts are very informative in most cases.
    Integration with third party software.
Ability to Run and Access Command prompt and windows services with out interfering with the user.
Remotely able to run scripts and restarts services from the mobile app.
Has a mobile app to allow to quickly check status of Servers and Users, while also able to run scripts directly through the app.
When support is needed, their assistance is very helpful.

Negative: Integration with TeamViewer at times was choppy, but on TeamViewer side was normally the cause.
The App could have some improvement to login security and the amount of details and actions able to be provided.

    NinjaRMM review

    Date: Jun 25 2020

Summary: In my opinion, there is no reason to use any other RMM than Ninja. They offer a fantastic service, that makes my life as an administrator simply better.

Positive: NinjaRMM has many features and integrations that make my job not only easier but a pleasure. It's simple to use, and an amazing entry point into remote management. The support staff is above average, to say the least. They have never failed to help me remediate an issue, or respond in a timely manner.

Negative: It's a little pricey. But you most definitely get what you pay for. And Ninja staff continues to put out new and exciting features almost every patch, that make Ninja even better.

An RRM that is easy to use and works great.

    Date: Jun 24 2020

Summary: I’m very happy with Ninja. Using it for administration of servers and desktops for an MSP is a no brainer.

Positive: Ninja has an extremely easy UI and is very logical. It has been reliable and regularly updates with feature additions. Their support has been on point.

Negative: When you’re in a device there isn’t a back button or window close to go back to the organization. You have to click the back button on your browser which is blah. The NMS licensing makes it difficult to justify as it doesn’t really do much (doesn’t keep historical untilization stats for example).

    Most Modern RMM I've Used

    Date: Jun 24 2020

Summary: Have used quite a few different RMMs and between UI/UX and functionality, we decided to use Ninja. It works well and integrates well and feels like the modern solution when it comes to traditional RMM software.

Positive: It's all in the cloud online. You can create client accounts with restrictions, and also have Teamviewer access when needed.

Negative: It feels a bit restrictive at times. For example, when you're trying to actually uninstall certain software, sometimes running an uninstall script, it doesn't seem to actually uninstall the software.

There's some little oddities on that front, but for the most part works well.

    Ninja!!

    Edited: Jun 24 2020

Summary: Ninja is a great way for keeping tabs on many computers/servers across many organizations. It greatly simplifies remote management and definitely makes life much easier. Alerts are great for catching problems proactively, such as detecting SMART status of failing HDDs before they become a problem. End user integration makes allowing and securing remote access to PCs a breeze too.

    Positive: Very easy to use
Alerts can help catch problems proactively
Multiple ways to access devices (TeamViewer, Splashtop, CLI)
    Simple interface
Powerful scripting tools greatly simplify batch operations (and are great at the single device level too)
End user integration is awesome. Just make them a Ninja account, no more RDP!!

Negative: Some things are almost too simple, for example Cloudberry through Ninja is very barebones, could use some more in-depth options/details.

    Ninja just makes it easy

    Date: Jun 24 2020

Summary: Overall experience is excellent. The ease of finding and connecting to users that are having an issue alone makes Ninja great, but all of the other features like reporting and remote management make it a must-have. Highly recommended.

Positive: The best part about Ninja is how easy it is to find PCs and connect to them. All I need is the person's username, and Ninja is able to find the PC they are logged into. I can search across all of our clients simultaneously and it just finds the PCs, I click it, I connect through Teamviewer, and I can help the person. The alerts and dashboard overview of everything going on is also very helpful.

Negative: One-off support for a user that is not already on Ninja can be a bit challenging, but it's nothing we can't work around.

    Great RMM tool!

    Date: Jun 24 2020

Summary: Overall I love the product and am very happy with it. I look forward to any updates and improvements or integrations to come!

Positive: It is easy to use and setup. Support is always helpful. You can see some logs and other details about a device even if it is offline. checking for and approving updates is easy. You can customize alerts that you want to trigger. Integrates with my PSA which also really helps! You can also easily run cmd or powershell commands without interrupting the end user. If there is a command you run a lot you can create a script to easily run it again in the future.

Negative: Currently you are unable to schedule something for next machine check-in, it has to be scheduled based on time only. Can't cancel a script once you initiate it, this isn't usually an issue but once in a while it would be nice.

    Will never turn back.

    Edited: Jun 24 2020

Summary: We love the software and use it daily! It has really been able to enhance our recurring income for our shop as well as give our customers peace of mind that they have someone watching over their computers daily.

Positive: Super easy to use even for a beginner.
Light weight on a computer system.
    Text Alerts!
Does have an app which is really nice.
Cheap in price as well as quality.
    Price

Negative: I haven't come across any major cons at the moment. The company crushes any bugs that come along pretty fast and releases regular updates.

    Total life-saver

    Date: Jun 24 2020

Summary: Again, I couldn't imagine where we would be without this product. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Positive: Due to COVID-19, 99% of our customers and support were pushed remotely. I'm not sure how we would have functioned without this product. The users were able to complete their jobs from home and we could facilitate that transition seamlessly.

During normal operations, our ability to proactively monitor client devices and catch potential issues before they turn into angry phone calls has been outstanding.

Negative: I'm hopeful that Ninja's homegrown backup solution is a solid replacement for Cloudberry. We have had mixed results with the latter product and I've got my fingers crossed that we can move our clients to Ninja backups!

Fantastic for Tracking overall Network Health

    Edited: Jul 02 2020

Summary: If you're looking for a great way to manage your IT environment, I couldn't recommend NINJA more. This even streamlines the ability to connect remotely to your servers right in the control panel.

Positive: The dashboard is simple and intuitive. I can quickly assess any issues I'm experiencing in any of the 5 school districts that I currently have Ninja installed at.

Negative: I love everything about this product. I have encountered no issues at all, from setup through the end user experience.

    Just what I wanted

    Date: Jun 24 2020

Summary: Sales and support staff were patient and helpful; tools work. this allows me to secure new clients, expand service offerings and continue providing service to current customer base.

Positive: Onboarding and implementation support were outstanding; I really appreciated the low pressure sales effort with plenty of time for me to clarify my need, compare to other product/services and make a decision; NinjaRMM performs as promised satisfying my expectations every day.

Negative: Requirement for multifactor authentication is hard to call a negative, but it's the only thing I can think of - It is an extra step when signing in, but probably a really good idea.

    NinjaRMM at School

    Date: Jun 23 2020

Summary: Overall an excellent service. If you are looking for performance and uptime monitoring I cannot recommend Ninja enough!

Positive: Solid reporting and fairly easy to add devices.
Once monitoring is set up, I very much appreciate the SMS alerting feature!

Negative: I wish the alerts were a little more customizable/granular. I also would like a pricing model design to make it attractive to add all my devices. (Right now we only have a select number of items due to cost.)
