Positive: ArboStar brings every piece of our operations into one interface. From job scheduling to invoicing to internal messaging – it’s all connected and easy to navigate. I especially appreciate the visual job board and the GPS functionality that lets me see crew locations in real time.

Negative: Took a few weeks to get our whole team fully onboarded, but their training staff was patient and available every step of the way.

Positive: The drag-and-drop calendar and crew assignment tools are top-notch. It takes a few clicks to reschedule or adjust. Everyone gets notified automatically

Negative: Took a few hours to customize it to our workflow, but worth it

Positive: New UTM tracking feature made advertising so much easier. We can see what marketing channels actually bring valuable leads and service requests. By knowing what is working and what is not, we have been able to more effectively manage our advertising budget by stopping wasteful spending and optimizing the most effective strategies. This has sharpened our bottom line significantly.

Negative: Learning the features took some time, but the support team greatly assisted and made the transition a lot easier.

Summary: Using the software improved our operations, reduced mistakes, and provided insights regarding our performance. This has enabled us to track our progress towards growth and improvement. For those in the tree care business looking for a comprehensive solution that addresses scheduling, customer communication, invoicing, fleet management, and more, look no further than ArboStar. It has greatly benefited our company, and I highly recommend it.

Positive: Before we implemented this software, we juggled multiple tools to manage our operations.Now, with this new software, all that is required is available at the click of a button. In my opinion, the best part is the scheduling tools. I can schedule the work based on the size of the job, where it is located, or how quickly it needs to be done. This ensures that our resources are fully utilized. Additionally, the app works offline in areas without cellphone coverage, which has been a game changer for our crews out in the field. All work done while offline is stored on the device and once coverage is available, there is no hassle with the phone automatically syncing the information.

Negative: The biggest challenge came from one of the older systems that we had data stored in that had to be synced with the new system. The team was great and helped overcome those hurdles, but it was at times frustrating when the data didn't sync correctly.

Summary: ArboStar has completely transformed how we manage our business. The time-saving alone has been a game changer, and the added benefits of automation have made our operations more efficient than ever. I can't imagine going back to how we did things before. Highly recommend!

Positive: ArboStar is a powerhouse for streamlining all aspects of our business. It’s packed with features that handle everything from job scheduling to invoicing and even GPS tracking for our team. The platform's ability to consolidate everything into one place has saved us countless hours, making us way more productive. The customer support team is always responsive and helpful, which makes a huge difference when we have questions.

Negative: It took a little time to train the team fully, but considering how many features are packed in, it's totally understandable. The learning curve is there, but once you get the hang of it, the system is incredibly intuitive.

Summary: Would I go back to how I used to do things? I couldn't dream of it. That alone, for me anyway, says it all.

Positive: This platform is absolutely phenomenal at automating tasks. That alone has been a game changer, but that's 1% of what this app offers. There's not enough space on this form to detail even a fraction of its features. If you want a true "do it all" app, this is it.

Negative: I had to train the team on the ins and outs, but the platform is surprisingly intuitive for how much information is jam-packed in there.

Summary: A catch-all business management platform that's specifically designed for arborist companies. Definitely one of the most useful apps I've used for work.

Positive: Very helpful to our financial reporting and record keeping. The financial side of the app, which is only one facet of what the platform offers, is like an industry-specific QuickBooks, and also supports QuickBooks integration (and a bunch more) if that's what you need. Very helpful.

Negative: I don't have anything bad to say about the app.

Summary: ArboStar lets me get my job done faster and with less hassle. Ultimately, it saves me time, but maybe more importantly, it saves me stress. I don't have to worry if the equipment is available, or if we're working on the right tree, or where the team is at any given time. Those things alone make the app worth it.

Positive: Works on my tablet and phone and does the job on both. The app has exactly what I need it to have. Live map, fleet management tools, geo-tagged trees, you name it. A really cool product.

Negative: Had an initial bug on the certain version of iOS I was using, but the customer service team was quick to address it. Other than that, there haven't been any issues at all.

Summary: Great platform. It lets me show up to any prospective leads, talk to the homeowner, and after investigating the property I simply type things like job size and type, equipment needed, etc., and the app gives me a fully calculated estimate right then and there. No guesswork required. Man-hour-rates, equipment fees, and all that were entered in when we got the app, and now it's just a matter of checking boxes for every job. Of course, we can add or subtract prices as we see fit, as well.

Positive: Makes my life easy. I can get more estimates done per day, instead of trying to remember and calculate the cost of a 2-man, 3-day job, plus equipment and taxes.

Negative: The initial prices do need to be imputed ahead of time, which only makes sense, and after that you're good to go for however many estimates your company needs. So I don't know if spending a bit of time at the start to save hundreds of hours of time in the future is a con, but it's all I can think of.

Summary: ArboStar makes my life easy. I can see what all my teams are doing at any time via GPS, plan new jobs and mark old ones completed (with automated follow-ups for maximum returning customers).

Positive: I love that I can leave notes for individual team members and track everyone's progress and see where we can re-organize team members or equipment to get the job done faster.

Negative: In order for my project management to be efficient, I need everyone on my team to use ArboStar and be responsive with communication and entering progress. So this can take a few meetings to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Summary: Honestly, I'm always hesitant about changing the way I run things. I inherited my business from my dad and we've always done things a certain way. But I kept hearing about CRMs and these apps and how great they were. Anyway, fast-forward and I'm in a call with an ArboStar rep who's giving me a free demo of all the features. The presenter was clear and was patient with my questions, and, well, now I'm a customer of ArboStar.

Positive: This app has so many features it's hard to know where to begin. Basically think of all the mental notes you keep in your head, all the many apps you use each day, all the spreadsheets you have to update, all the emails you have to send out, just think of everything. Now imagine all of that being handled under ONE platform. That's what ArboStar is for me. It really is as advertised an "all-in-one" package.

Negative: Ironically, the pros are also the cons. I haven't counted, but this thing must have 20 or more modules. From estimates, to inventory, to invoicing, to automated client follow-ups, to in-company communication, to payroll… I can't even name it all. So it's a lot to get used to, but you can take it one step at a time and it's all quite intuitive. Thankfully ArboStar lets me call them for no charge whenever I can't quite figure something out.

Summary: I saw a measurable increase in profits without going back to my old system. ArboStar is number 1 in my book.

Positive: This platform is great for automating tasks and managing all aspects of my business. It has absolutely changed the way I run things. The customer service team is also incredibly responsive if any issues or questions arise.

Negative: It took a while to train the team on the ins and outs of all of the various aspects. But this isn't necessarily a bad thing, as there's so many features, but they all play their part in ultimately making things run more smoothly and efficiently.

Summary: ArboStar is a dream to use, and is so much better than what our company was doing before (don't ask, it was a nightmare). Here, every employee has a distinct file that lists everything about them, and everything is tracked and taken care of automatically. Best of all, this is all apart of the ArboStar app, which means no switching programs when I need to deal with an HR incident or just keep track of attendance.

Positive: Easy to use, lots of features, integrated with so many other features. Just streamlines what I have to do each day, to be honest.

Negative: I don't have a bad word to say about this app so far.

Summary: I can only speak from my own uses of the app, which is just a small portion of what the app does, apparently. But for my job, it reduces errors, and makes things run like clockwork. Go ArboStar!

Positive: I'll just make this simple: ArboStar makes my job a lot easier. I show up to the jobsite knowing exactly what equipment I'll need, I check the photos that are noted and marked by GPS so it's completely impossible to pick the wrong tree. This app is great.

Negative: Old habits die hard, so at first I felt like I was fine doing things the old way. But I can be a bit stubborn like that, and after I finally gave in, I was impressed from the get go. So the only con I can really think of is you gotta add in something to your work process, but it saves you so much time per jobsite that it's definitely worth it.

Summary: Makes dealing with customer issues a breeze. The ticketing system keeps everything orderly and convenient, and can be sorted to suit your needs, as can everything else.

Positive: Dozens of sorting fields for client information. Incredibly easy to enter info on clients and search that info and deal with any issues that may arise. Very versatile and works on my phone and tablet.

Negative: Many modules is a good thing, but it can also be a bit overwhelming at first. But I stick to what I need to know and branch out as I feel comfortable, and that process has been working for me so far.
