Summary: Overall, our company has been very pleased with the APS solution. It replaced a very clunky and difficult to navigate payroll company. Support is great and fast and all of the members of the APS team that we have worked with during implementation have been friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help.
Positive: Ease of use, user friendly system, total package for payroll and HR. Employee friendly system/app. It really puts control of information in the employees hands, freeing up time for the managers.
Negative: I wish the HR training came before the payroll training, it seems backwards to do payroll first then HR as there are many HR related things going on prior to running the first payroll cycle. Also, development times for custom reports and integrations with third parties could be quicker.

Summary: Overall, APS and its team members are wonderful. They ensure we have all questions answered and able to operate smoothly. We appreciate them!
Positive: APS is the easiest platform I have ever used for onboarding, recruiting, day to day employee files. The APS team is always quick to answer any question we have. Payroll is also a very smooth process.
Negative: There is not anything I would change at this point.

Summary: The best HR/Payroll product that I have ever used. The support staff is great. They respond very quickly to all of my questions or concerns.
Positive: APS is so easy to use and helps me do the payroll and staffing portion of my job such that I can be more productive in other areas. The transition was smooth. The support staff is fantastic.
Negative: I really do not have any cons with APS. I have never used a payroll system before that I could say that about before APS.

Summary: Overall, I highly recommend APS as a payroll software due to the fantastic service team, its highly intuitive software, and the great add ons that make HR and Payroll so much easier.
Positive: The service team is easy to contact, super responsive, and always willing to help. The product is intuitive and easy to figure out. Some of my favorite features are the report manager. You can easily customize any kind of report you may need. I also love the 'tile' feature where you can add tiles of information on any tab that suits your needs. For example, on the payroll tab, I added the Employee Statistics tile so every time I look at payroll I quickly see how many employees not enrolled in direct deposit. I also appreciate all the "add on" options, like Benefit Administration & APS Hire. The work very seamlessly with payroll.
Negative: I wish rate changes would have beginning and end dates in an easy to view history. Same with direct deposit information. On the Dates tab, if a term employee is changed to active, I wish it would automatically update the rehire date. Also, if a person is put on leave, it would automatically update leave start and if changed from leave to active, automatically update leave end. It would be great if the history of these changes were easily viewable in a list on this tab. One last thing, it would be great if two factor authorization was a feature that could be turned on for APS payroll.

Summary: We have a unique org structure and require a lot of unique operational functions. The APS team has been engaged in our relationship as a true business partner, not just a service provider. When we first started with them, we had a couple of years of ongoing deep dives to enhance the system functionality to meet our needs. They have always been open to the discussions and work to do what is reasonably possible to meet the expectations. Overall, their customer service has always been on point. We decided to venture out to another service provider in 2021, but it was a nightmare and after about 6 months we had to pivot overnight. APS welcomed us back without hesitation and made it appear effortless from their side to get us back up and operating. We value our business relationship with them in many ways!
Positive: Customer service! It is an intuitive platform, the admin side of the system is also very intuitive, the reporting functionality has grown over time and has simplicity to its structure but gets you what you need. The benefits platform has evolved and has been a lifesaver for us by reducing significant admin burden and is simple in structure for the user. APS hire and onboarding is simple and makes the process streamlined and paperless. In general, the system can be tailored to your needs in multiple areas. Where we have run into issues, they are very willing to dig in and work with their development team whenever possible.
Negative: There are always tweaks and improvements that could be made but overall, no cons worth noting.

Summary: I've been through many such transitions and I have to say this was one of the smoothest , efficient changes I've experienced.
Positive: Our implementation team was very thorough and readily available for all of our questions as we went about setting up our instance. We had weekly calls for several weeks to address any open items and for training The system is very user friendly and logical. We were especially impressed with the integration with our accounting software - Sage Intacct. It has saved us literally hours of time in recording the biweekly payroll.
Negative: The instructions available for some of the functions that we use very rarely (e.g. paying out bonuses and the related tax issues) were not complete enough for us to process without assistance. However, a phone call for help, quickly resolved our issues.

Summary: We switch to APS from ADP a little over a year ago. This has been one of the best changes we have made. I have a relationship with my support team. I feel like they are always there and happy to help. My employees love the system because it very easy to use. APS has saved me time and the company money. I feel like I have a partner with APS and I never got that feeling with ADP or any other HRIS or payroll software.
Positive: Amazing Customer Service and support. Love my dedicated service team! They are always available when I need them. I never have to wait on hold for an extended period of them.
User friendly software, even my employees who have trouble with computers are able to navigate APS.
The application tracking is amazing.Negative: APS has a good reporting where you can build your own reports and they have many custom reports already build. Its user friendly. My only con would be I wish it provided totals when exporting it CVS files.

Summary: Overall APS offers a very useful and comprehensive tool to allow us to process payroll, and handle HR-related functions in one easy to use software package.
Positive: Customer service is always very helpful and responsive- team 8 truly are Saints! Easy layout makes navigating the system very easy and intuitive.
Negative: Some minor tweaks to allow editing of information without having to leave a module completely would be a time saver- such as when approving timecards to be able to view the timecard/edit punches without having to leave the "approve timecard" section completely.

Summary: Very good overall, value is good, and the support is good. As mentioned UI for the administration as well as user portal can be better.
Positive: Good value, and they are always adding more features to the platform. Certainly smarter choice than more expensive alternatives.
Negative: UI can certainly be better, also adding a wide variety of 3rd part integrations would be a nice thing.

Summary: We've been using them for about 4 years now and as an HR office of 1 for 100 staff--they have been a real lifesaver!
Whenever I need assistance or just have a question, they are quick to respond and I can usually get an issue resolved right away--or at least the same day.Positive: Support team is top notch!! You don' t just get into a call center--you have a team directly assigned to your account and they all have general knowledge of the whole platform, but each also has their area of expertise for more involved issues (benefits, recruitment, payroll, etc). Workflow is logical and easy to navigate for users as well as management and admin staff.
Negative: That I didn't find them sooner! I would like to be able to drag/drop multiple documents at one time into staff accounts but I think they are working on that.
