They also produce the political lobbying that prevents more pressure for those consumers to find and use alternatives to their products, so they're note free of responsibility either.
The large companies/conglomerates that pump out and deliver hydrocarbons end up being the source of the largest quantity of hydrocarbon byproduct.
Just shocking I tell you!
I was just so sure it'd be some nuclear plants or something.....
Of course, if their consumers were motivated not to that'd help - but that pressure is being released right now it seems.
Uh....only scuba diving depth pal.
He needs some friends to just give him an intervention at this point. Slim odds of it both being found and being recoverable. Just throwing money at it and/or raking up debt that he'll never be able to repay if he goes down this route is not the way to go - and only someone he really trusts has a chance at getting that message to him at this point.
Well now you've ruined my day. If I can't run FS2024 on it what's the point......
The iOS SOC in that adapter probably has more capability than the whole desktops that ran it initially, so sure why not.
We moved off when they came for money a number of years ago now. OpenJDK has worked just fine.
Same for Database - they want you to pay for every processor in your VPC - even if Oracle will only ever use a fraction of that.
Buh Bye.
That's my decision. If stores want to put mundane cheap items behind locked shelves (where it'll take forever to find someone to unlock it) instead of putting proper effort into how they run the stores/deal with security, then I'm not buying that item there.
This is the same stores (I'm looking at you Walmart) that you will have self checked out, walk out, have the sensor go off and the supposed loss prevention person there completely ignores you - not even giving an acknowledgement it's OK to go or not.
Do we need to post multiple stories a day about this? I think everyone on this site knows the deadline, and knows what they are doing (change to Linux, or wait as long as possible to upgrade if not).
Just stick a mega-thread somewhere and let people post their favorite links in it or something - jeez.
I swear we had one of these a week ago.
I have three boxes running Windows 10 right now. Two (one I use mainly as a media serve, and my laptop) will become Linux boxes soon enough. The last I'm waiting it out as long as I can, but I'll surrender to Windows 11 for gaming purposes only on that box.
I'm sure I'm not alone in choosing to lower my Windows footprint. Don't need a.i. on everything I touch. Don't need to have everything I do sent back via telemetry.
Knock it off Microsoft and you'll get better adoption.
I have definitely noticed an increase in lights that are just not aimed well. Had one just the other day - the bulb on the far side form me was just aimed up and across the street right at incoming drivers, while the one closer the the lane divider was fine. That tells me it wasn't brights on. I don't know if it's poor aiming as installed, or failing with some cars that have "smart" headlights that are just messing up.
Look, you can go with the sonic sunglasses, but we all know you'll be back to screwdriver before you know it.
You are confusing the right a violent criminal defendant has to raise a defense fund and the right of a company to choose whom they do business with/for.
If Gofundme does not want to assist violent criminals in raising money that is well within their rights.
If this is going to do calls or data at any useful rate - how much will phone transmission power need to increase? Sure, less obstruction going up - but we're talking like 350 miles vs what, no more that 40 miles (and usually a lot less).
