Journal zogger's Journal: Black Cyber Weekend Days Ultra Sales!! 9
All RIGHT, let's hear it, fess up! We all like gadgets, what did you score, tell us your deals you found and bought this start of the binge buying season! We all have to do our part to *stimulate the economy* you know. So, I got the "10% off!!" treatment in an email from my disk clone dealer, succumbed to temptation, and broke the bank and got my fedora 10 disk coming, DVD, six clams and change, shipping included. Yes, I know, totally irrational excess...I will blame it on gobbler, stuffing, pumpkin pie and sweet potatoe overdose.. anyway, that was my cyber monday purchase, what deals did ya'all get? 50 ersatz faux replica forum quatloos for whomever got the best deal by popular "wow, not bad"! factor, the category is "open" and I know right now I did not win....

We shall see - if the purchasing continues at the current levels then I don't expect to see much larger discounts at the end of the year, but if Black Friday and Cyber Monday (blech! what a term) were just spikes from people wanting to get "deals" and the shopping goes down between n
best in january (Score:1)
The best deals are in January for new stuff when they are stuck with inventories and have to pay tax on them. The best in pawnshops is February because the first credit card bills come in and people dump old stuff cheap just to get some cash to pay that bill.

I'm waiting for January for the better deals- my reading of the Kasriel recession indicator and the Obama Admin says we'll see the low point reversal of deflation about February/March. I'm certainly going to be buying durables that I need in Q1, just as soon as I see PMI reverse.
