Trust AI? Why? In other words, who is going to validate this stuff?

Noting that saying you like it, whatever it is, is a job security response. Unlikely to be even close to true.

I would probably be dead in that instance and not really caring anymore. The cloud however, was supposed to be impervious. Especially, I would have thought with regard to Amazon customer data. How to get cash if your customer data gets bombed etc

Does this actually mean 4% productivity increase was achieved by folk being so scared they were going to lose their jobs suddenly upping their game? Probably in an unsustainable manner.

It's not at all clear if there's any way of enforcement of this. As in, who can do what when a student says... "Bugger off. I am keeping and using my phone."

Rust touts its amazing memory safe etc, but then it appears that to do much of anything (especially replicate existing non-rust code functionality) then rust reaches for allowing "unsafe" code. So, what was the point?

Rust was supposed to be epic because it was memory safe. But now it appears that rust code needs to do "unsafe" stuff to replace the "unsafe" stuff.

And where does it end up?

Stacking on more and more variations of autism. Little apparent idea on origins. Not apparently too much idea as to what is happening in the body. Not a whole lot ideas on what to do about it... except maybe some drugs.

I wonder if you knew that Redit could and would sell off all your data. Once more the users become the product.
