I have an HTC Flyer and it is wonderfull. If you have classes where most of the material is in PDF's which you can annotate its probably the best way to learn. I have and it really really works. Sadly most classes dont lend themselves to just PDF annotation. The Flyer small and cheap but I think the Lenovo Tegra 2 tablet and the Samsung Galaxy Note tablets are probably superior.

Why would they have to pipe all the water in? You can just as well channel it through the dome? Even channel it throught at night. What about insects and pollinators? They live fine in greenhouses. Why shouldnt they live in a dome. And who cares about migrating birds for such a small area?

I know a lot of competent engineers who are still repair men. I used to be one years ago and the higher up the pecking order I get, the more incompetency I see around me. I loved it and prefer the company I kept. The only reason I quit was that it was under appreciated.

I'm a n00b programmer but a decent technician. Head first books were the best for me when starting programming. Its not going to be the best for most slashdotters but for taking your first steps with a programming language its by far the best.
