When I created my mobile app, rather than use cognitive or other SAAS based âoefederatedâ auth service, I had Claude create one for me. And I created a nice framework that lets us use lambda as well as docker for our API layers This not only allows me to develop and test the entire auth and API stack locally, but we can pack up and leave on a whim All this took was a bit of prep and planning and about 3 weeks of dev and testing With the ease and speed at which component devs can create and ship enterprise architectures, why pay someone for lock-in on theirs?

There are people still using VMWare?!?!? And their main issue is COST, rather than the fact that VMWare is like a thousand years old?

You don't know him and don't know he's a sociopath.

However, the people who do know him say he's a sociopath, so they probably know.

I mean the software is impressive and all, but since when is someone with a user ID in the 400,000s a long-time reader?

"I forget what they call it"

I think a lot of them are freaking out about how to keep their servants and security loyal in the bunkers. Your bunker seems like a great idea until your head of security starts cutting off your fingers and won't stop until you give him all the codes and combinations to the safe.

We've lost half the world's corals in 50 years.

That's actually a right-wing myth. The government never "ordered" them to do that. They did it out of greed.

Oops.

Everything you said is correct except the penguin thing. Some penguin species are dependent on sea ice, and they have been declining because of that.

Arctic summer ice is down 50% in only like 50 years. Most of the historic Mt. Kilimanjro snow cover is gone. The predictions are coming through.

You're a liar, of course, when you exaggerate what those predictions were. But you're lying out of fear and anger because you know you have been wrong, that it's getting clearer that you've been wrong, and you know it's eventually going to be so clear that even the mentally deranged in this country who don't believe in climate change will finally realize they're wrong. And it will happen soon enough that you will still be around and people you know will remember how stupid you were.

Noise, higher electricity and power bills.

On the one hand, patent troll. On the other, Apple has spent the past 50 years stealing ideas from everyone so hard to feel too bad.

Not for nVidia. They are the guys selling shovels to the gold rush miners.
