Um, while I know its been crucified since its release. Try Anarchy Online - either for the first time or again. I beleive FunCom is offering december free for those who canceled their accounts.

All I can say is - its getting better. No, its not 100% there, but it is getting better.

We all dreamed about the "Computer Revolution" as kids growing up, the beginning of a technologicial renaissance. We imagined it, we learned about it, we embraced technology when it was in its fledgling state because WE wanted to have the moving platforms and the flying cars. We wanted the smart house, the voice activated computer, the robotic dog, time machines which look like phone booths and transporters. But instead we have the DCMA, software pattents for stupidity, court cases, megacorps making sure they get their way - at all cotsts to anyone else, and media vultures ready to lash out at any new technology. Is this the society we set out to build, where our main source of unification, the Internet, is literally being choked by big business, government regulations, and lobyists? What I really want to know is, when are we going to take the term "Computer Revolution" to a new level?
