Actually, I don't grudge him calling the holiday "Sorrytaking." While it is important to be thankful, and that is how my family celebrates the holiday, we can also use this day as on opportunity to learn from our previous mistakes, and express regret that things transpired the way they did. A lot of American Indians died as a result of European settlers, and I don't think that he is going overboard in the slightest when he chooses to acknowledge this. It's a valid interpretation of the holiday.
