Okay, so little things amuse me today. But anyway . . .

I assume that the envelope-stuffing make-money-fast schemes advertised in the newspaper classified ads are all some sort of scam but the ads themselves are usually a bit more subtle than this one:

Make Money Stuffing Envelopes!
Stuff 400 envelopes, get $800.
For information, send $2 to:
[etc.]

Hilarious.

However, con games are usually intended for people who do not see the obvious. Maybe this is a subtle ploy to only recruit suckers and idiots?

I mean it's so tempting to submit ad like that to my local paper. Unfortunately, that scam really is a scam on so many levels. If it costs $.50 to send an envelope, then you'd only make about $1.50.
