He quotes a poll that says "71 percent of the public wants to put an end to the twice-yearly practice of changing clocks" as a reason to get rid of DST. That is not what it says it says they want to end the twice yearly time change. Most people I have talked to about the time change seem to feel that one time should be chosen either daylight savings or standard and then thus stay with it year round..

SCO want's SGI to remove the entire XFS system code and even that may not be enough for SCO since everthing that has even the most remote connection to UNIX is a dervztive. I have a UNIX Primer book in the bookshelf next to me so this message is probably a UNIX derivative and anyone who reads it will need to pay a licensing fee to SCO.
