Thought I might share this with you all, a few years ago I found www.cameronsworld.net it is an ode to the internet of old, the author painstakingly found 100s of old geocities websites that had been archived and arranged them on a page looking like it came straight out of 1998.

Hell it was almost 15 years ago that I read OPUs (Optical Processing Units) would replace CPUs by 2025 and there initial processing power would be equivelent to a 50ghz CPU. Whatever happened to that? Can we just not work with photons like we need to?

I am an avid gardener and live in the south west area of Oregon and I did notice a significant decrease in bumble bees this last growing season, probably only saw about a dozen total all summer. Honey bees though were absolutely everywhere, slightly more than previous years. I blame the local and massive marijuana industry, they use tons of pesticides.

I feel the same way. Cyber voting can never be 100% secure. I've also read through parts of the Dominion voting software manual and it lists ways to maniuplate voting data with little to no effort.

People on /. complain about "Q cultists" and "Trump tards" all the while acting like Democratic party cultists themselves. I know we're growing closer to the election, but it's sad to see how political this site has become. What happened to impartial and moderate viewpoints? Does everyone have to be radicalized these days?

CL is the sole provider of DSL for city and rural locations in my area and my clients have non-stop trouble with them. Constant outages, speeds often 1/20th of what their told they are getting, terrible technical support, continued price increases for services. They've been promising that they will upgrade their local phone and internet systems to people for over 2 years now without a single improvement in speed or reliability. They are an absolute joke of a company.
