This is a good point. That situation already exists for night workers, but would be a pain if extended to the general population. This would affect Alaska, Hawaii, Pacific islands, the eastern half of Australia, Japan, North and South Korea, parts of Indonesia, and northeastern Russia.
Why do we need for working hours to be (more or less) from 0800 to 1700? What difference does it make if working hours in a region or a state are more or less between hour zero and 0900?

When the sun is highest in the sky is generally when people have lunch. Or, once you know that lunch is generally around the hours of 0300-0400, I don't think that would be difficult to remember.

Finding out what time would be convenient to hold a call is something you generally do by negotating with the other party. If you're using global UTC, you can at least talk about the time in absolute terms, rather than having to do arithmetic to figure out how local time relates to remote time.
I thought Tesla varies the charging rate. I think these batteries can soak up a lot of current when they are mostly discharged.

Over half of American households have two or more cars. Electric cars are an ideal second vehicle, used exclusively for commuting or running errands. This is a huge market opportunity and completely moots your points. Two car families can always fall back on their ICE car in the short term. In the long term, the problems you cite will likely be resolved by improved battery and charging technology.
There are a lot of flood plains, earthquake zones, hurricane and tornado alleys, and fire-prone areas in this country. The idea that people could simply move out of all of those areas is not realistic.
The idea that Russian or Chinese hackers couldn't hurt you personally is ludicrous on its face.
I used Kaspersky many years ago, but would strongly recommend against it now. There is too much risk that the Russian government, which is basically a massive criminal enterprise, has its fingers in that pie.

I tried that. It doesn't work. I tried to show a family member how to use Snopes to find out if a story was true or not, before forwarding it on to others, and they said they didn't care if it was true.
