HP announced they were open sourcing it last month, which it says in the summary. It doesn't explain well that HP today laid out their plans, with release dates, for a complete open source webOS. As well as released the Enyo framework, across multiple platforms. Already seeing apps running in browsers and on Android based on it. Today is the actual start of them opening up the source on things. http://precentral.net/ - Multiple articles up today detailing everything that was released today.

Yes, but OS/2 was still way better than Win95. Win95 was 32-bit "OS" bolted on DOS. OS/2 was 32-bit from the ground up. The Windows of today has more in common with OS/2 than it has with Windows 95.

I hope it would have more in common, the Windows of today was born from Microsoft's work developing OS/2 version 3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_NT#Development

My Pre is running the latest 1.4.1.1 WebOS version. I tried their "exploits" on it, it did nothing, had no affect on it. In the video they're running an outdated version of WebOS, 1.3.5. WebOS will download updates OTA automatically, and install them if you don't do it after a certain number of days. To me, the likeliness of these still being issues is close to null and void.

My Logitech V450 Nano Laser Mouse works very well. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/mice/devices/4335&cl=US,EN I've been using it for going on 3 months now, and haven't had to change the batteries yet. It runs on 2 AA. Battery meter in their optional software says it's still at 85%. I play several hours of WoW every day when I get off work, plus use it for several hours playing Call of Duty 4 each week. It responds really well, better than my previous usb wired mouse I had.

Smartphone and Tethering are not provisioned the same. Tethering has it's own access point. If it's not provisioned on the plan, then you wouldn't be able to connect properly. The tethering plans are now $59.99 for 5GB. There are two other low usage plans, but aren't worth mentioning. At least that's how it is at AT&T, where I work.
