NASA developed, built, and operated a satellite catching craft over 50 years ago. It was called the STS, otherwise known as the Space Shuttle. Publicly, it caught the Solar Max satellite, the Hubble Space Telescope, and several others. Thatâ(TM)s what it was built for. What do you consider the chances are that a few Soviet satellites were also visited during the classified Department of Defense missions? https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nasa.gov%2Fhistory%2F3...

I mean, no, not really. Penicillin was discovered in 1928, ignored for many years, and then was industrialized in about a a year and half in 1941 by a half dozen researchers working at the University of Oxford. The Manhattan Project took 3 years, 130,000 employees, 33 Billion dollars in modern currency, and created industrial waste sites which will be contaminated for at least 25,000 years.

Iâ(TM)ve seen a credible analysis that suggests they were going over 160 knots when they went off the far side of the runway. The approach speed for a 737-800 is usually around 140-150 kts depending on speed, snd touchdown is normally around 120-130. EMAS is a great invention and it should be installed wherever possible, but i donâ(TM)t think it would have helped significantly in this crash.

As the US navy learned when they started denaturing torpedo fuel, that ends up killing a lot of your enlisted personnel. Besides that, military personnel are inventive and capable of building improvised stills to re-distill it, as history proves. Better to negotiate that they their stop drinking while you still have 1500 yards of range left in your torpedoes. Also, there is no such thing as a reliable witness. You can line up a dozen sober, intelligent people and ave them watch an event happen. Later, all 12 will give a slightly different version of the event. Their recall can also be used influenced by external suggestion or interviewer bias. Eyewitness are worthless.

We have lots and lots of pictures of wha a missile strike on an airliner looks like, based on MH17 and J28243. It is widespread and self evident, and causes easily identifiable damage patterns. There are many many pictures of TWA800 available. Can you point out any damage on TWA800 that is similar to any damage on the two aircraft that are known to have been shot down by missiles?
