From the VARs we've spoken to the only "real" approximate replacement is Nutanix. No way around it really, companies love the opex expenses of the cloud vs capital, even if they are getting reamed.

New Ipad is soaking wet diaper shit.
It's fine if they just stuck to regular consumer tech. They seems to be building a lab to compete with Gamers Nexus, but it'd be hard to shake off that goofy image, especially since I'm assuming they'll continue on with their current content.
The worst part is when they "feature" enterprise gear, I'm assuming they just get a product and the sales slides and give the same pitch but with their own twist. They're just shills.
Seems to happen a lot there, they'll "bump" the mic pack on something and the livestream audio will go out and dozens upon dozens of people will send paid superchats to let them know of the issue.
ChatGPT is downright useless. Any queries that can in any way be construed as "controversial" have absolutely no data returned other than some talking point blurb about how x and y isn't relevant, and even if x is true then it is caused by socio-economic variables. So even if civilization bit the dust and this somehow survived, or if some future (or even present) researcher wanted to get a feel of anything at all about our current or past times, it wouldn't return anything useful.

"USAID-funded Rule of Law implementers helped draft the Russian Constitution, Part I of the Russian Civil Code, and the Russian Tax Code."
"As a world-wide movement for open government has developed, USAID has supported civic watchdog groups in Russia that have provided non-partisan oversight over electoral processes including through innovative uses of technology."
For someone like Putin, who watched his glorious Soviet Union fall, only to be reborn partially through the will of the US must eat him alive day and night.
I wonder how much of this is the USAs fault for drafting parts of the Russian Constitution, Part I of the Russian Civil Code, and the Russian Tax Code
I read on Twitter people were trying to coordinate a bank run in Canada, directing people to withdrawal as much cash as they could. But this specific outage doesn't seem like it would be too useful at thwarting that. Maybe they were changing limits on the back end? not sure.
"we need to wait for the data" yet they can make claims that we'll need additional boosters or re-engineered vaccines to counter this mutation.
Sounds great, yet I haven't heard anything about them shutting down their operations in the North Sea. Why is that?
Just think of what could happen if Bethesda or Rockstar learn about this.
The MUD GemStone also debuted on GEnie, and it's still around, but has been dying slowly over the years.
Our store in Indy has gone to hell as well, we have tons of Amazon DCs so our entire area is covered by same day delivery as well as a Newegg DC that offers same day pick-up. Fry's will be like losing Radioshack, it was the local store of last resort for me if I needed something odd.
-Also I don't come here often anymore, but wtf I can't post anonymously without logging in?
I don't have Facebook but can you purchase items, media, etc through the app? I know when I installed the DirecTV app on my phone it was checking for root as a way to disallow rooted devices from using their streaming app. I had to use the magisk hide module to get around this.
