Journal silent_rock's Journal: halloween, la-di-da 1

happy halloween, la-di-da. the first trick-or-treaters were cute and adorable and i really felt it was my duty and obligation to give them candy. after running up to get the door a few more times (lara croft, princesses, scary things, spiderman, cheerleaders), no more fun. i just put up the "out of candy, sorry" sign because we're out of candy. my favorite costume was the kid carrying this cardboard sign with pictures and i asked "what are you?" and he said, "uh, a protester!" HAHAHAHA!

very quiet weekend with lots of sleep.

i said crematized instead of cremated.

The crazy people don't sleep in on Saturday mornings. They go right out and stake their corner of the Hearst/Euclid intersection and start talking to themselves. There was one on the south-east and one on the north-east. Why don't they just reach out and talk to EACH OTHER?

my iced coffee tasted weird today.

i went grocery shopping and bought 36 eggs, 2 lbs. ground beef, 8 pork loin chops, chinese cabbage...

jamba juice flava of the weekend: orange dream machine, with femme boost (my ma wants me to be more feminine). mmmmmm just like an orange creamsicle, but with lots of protein and calcium.

i have a lot of respect for students who aren't fazed (i wanted to write "phased") after being handed back a hmwk at 44% correct. they just continue on doing the next assignment. i would probably give up.

can't figure out which is the harder one to deal with - the person who says anything that comes to his mind, or the one who says very little of what goes on in his head. the first can be annoying with broken promises but the second is impossible to figure out. a taste of my own medicine.

They got a bad grade because they didn't try, and they know it. So it isn't a big deal. They just actually try a few times for each time they dwadle and they'll be ok.
