Journal silent_rock's Journal: it never ends 1

Monday night I found a European tick on my leg, which had been attached for at least half a day since it was itchy in the morning, and also I think I dropped 50 Euro. I am cursed. I fucking hate Europe. :-/

We are staying near the city center, near the Opera House and Stephansplatz U stop. The past two nights we ended up in Italian restaurants. Elowyn and I met Bunny and her new Oxford geochemist colleagues for dinner - the English are so goofy non-intimidating. I had minestrone soup for starters and tiramisu for the main course. (REALLY good tiramisu - probably the best thing about this trip.) It was raining.

Haven't been taking photos and don't have any free afternoons, only free mornings, not sure if/when I'll do touristy things like taking photos.

E and I might take the train back to Zurich instead of being stuck 3 in the back seat for another 12 hour car ride on Friday night. We don't know anything about the train yet, we are really free-forming [wrong word] this one...

I was just typing a reply to an email from our dept. chair and I realized that I was using no caps. So I went back and changed it.
